Vanity Fair released an interview with Emma Caufield that mentions that she will be returning as Sarah Proctor in Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The main focus of the interview is how she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than a decade ago and has been quietly struggling with it since then.

I am both happy to hear about her return to the MCU and saddened over her diagnosis.

Me too, Anya was always one of my favorite Buffy characters, and I liked her on WandaVision too.

I assumed the Agatha show was going to be some prequel about her evil adventures before WandaVision, but it's shaping up to be a sequel to it instead. Wonder how she breaks free of the spell Wanda put her on, or if it weakens specifically because Wanda "died".

Yeah, Wanda’s demise is all that is required to be a satisfying explanation.

I've always halfway suspected that the Agatha show was going to be a continuation of Wanda's story, but framing it as all Agatha for spoiler reasons.

Same here, although I do expect we'll get some backstory flashbacks here and there.

I thought the franchise was bringing Wanda back from another timeline. I'm just not invested in Agatha.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was about "good" Wanda and the kids entering the main universe. Agatha Harkness is not an outright villain, so it would be good to see her doing something positive this time round.

Agnes isn't an outright villain in the MCU?

So . . . the Sokovia Accords has finally been repealed. Good riddance.

I'd prefer to see 616 Wanda actually go on a metaphysical journey grappling with her sins before being rescued from hell rather than just porting 'good Wanda' into the 616 reality as an easy replacement.

At least someone would be grappling with his or her sins. Tony Stark certainly didn't in the end. Instead, he made excuses for them via a rant at Steve Rogers.

Yeah, Stark tried to dream up an excuse for every selfish and unethical thing he did or set into motion--hardly ending with the "great character arc" claimed by diehard MCU-Stark fans.

I don't see how that's worse than how the movies kept trying to make Magneto out to be some conflicted anti-hero despite his monstrous actions.

A number of films have been pushed back, per io9:
    • Blade previously dated on 11/3/23 moves to 9/6/24
    • Untitled Deadpool movie previously dated on 9/6/24 moves to 11/8/24
    • Fantastic Four previously dated on 11/8/24 moves to 2/14/25
    • Untiled Marvel Movie previously dated on 2/14/25 moves to 11/7/25
    • Avengers: Secret Wars previously dated on 11/7/25 moves to 5/1/26
    • Untiled Marvel Movie dated on 5/1/26 is removed from schedule
This may or may not have to do with Blade still looking for a new director.

This means instead of the previously scheduled six-month gap between the two Avengers films, it's now exactly one year.

So, we're a month out from Wakanda Forever. Do we really not have an anticipation thread? Is it really worth starting one a month out?

I wonder if that speaks to the general anticipation level. I have to admit, that my anticipation is fairly subdued and more leveled on the introduction of Namor than anything else. I have no real investment in the Shuri character and I'm not a real big fan of Letitia Wright in general.

 This is exactly what I mean, and why I just shrugged at that Wolverine/Deadpool announcement. I don’t understand how people can get excited for this stuff when it’s always delayed and these dates they throw out, the MCU ones only a few weeks ago, mean absolutely nothing.
Two years ago now since Disney made all those Star Wars announcements. Tell me, how’s Lando coming along for example. Oh, nothing whatsoever in two years? Great..

I watched the trailer twice. I still don't understand what is supposed to be going on. It left no buzz in my brain so I feel little anticipation.

Welcome to it. I see no reason to get excited over projects until they actually show me something. Even then, I am at the point where streaming is a better option that going to the theater.

I'm on the opposite side of that: I thought Shuri--with her intellect and training--had a well of potential to be tapped going forward. She is unlike any other MCU character, and really answers to no one, or recognizes them, which makes her an interesting, random element in any crossover stories to come. But before that happens, her ascent to another role is of strong interest to me.

Where Namor is concerned, I hope he--at the point of his re-introduction in The Fantastic Four #4 (1962) is supposed to be far older than his appearance, with his story dating back to World War II--or an earlier date. I'm not asking for a retconned Invaders sub-plot or reference to his having a connection to Steve Rogers (which never occurred or was mentioned in the MCU), but I believe his character being long lived (and building decades' worth of resentment for humankind) would be a fascinating start for the character.
