This one was great, but felt too short. Can't wait to see what happens next. I'm genuinely enjoying the humor, and I've already developed a real fondness for Tatiana Maslany.

I think that they're all going to feel short compared to what we're used to. It's supposed to be a half hour sitcom.

None of the marvel tv shows are really hitting for me, this included. Not bad, but short, with bad pacing, and then usually not enough episodes to work either, so story just quickly wraps up. See how this one goes, but not digging the 30 minute sitcom plan, especially when after opening and closing credits, we’re getting 20 min or less of story

Which is no different from sitcoms on network TV, after removing the commercials.

Yeah, I was just watching a couple of Two and Half Men episodes from 2004. Clocked in at 21 minutes, including the opening theme song and end credits.

If it seems too short, there's a problem with pace. If intended as a comedy, I call it "laughs per minute." Too much set up, not enough humour. That can go for drama and action as well.

Haven't made up my mind about She-Hulk yet, but I wouldn't say it's amazing or hilarious. I think the family scenes in Ms Marvel were a lot more fun.

Then Col. Hogan should still be in Stalag 13 today.

A prisoner of war situation in a World War is not the same thing. In fact a prisoner of war has the duty and standing order to try and escape and return to his countries army.

Col. Crittondon agrees with you, but he didn't see what they were doing as escaping. In and out, in and out, sabotage, and funneling other escapees through an underground railroad.

Crittiondon was legally obligated to cooperate with the Germans, and tell them everything, when he temporarily out ranked Hogan, unless its about escape.

Hogan was an spy and saboteur using being a POW as a cover. If he was caught doing either it probably would have been worse than being caught as an escaped prisoner.

    Spys are shot.

The lose definition of a spy back then is being out of uniform.

If Hogan was caught blowing up a bridge, it's conceivable that every man in Stallag 13 might have been executed, which is why a responsible Allied Officer would inform on Hogan to the Germans, unless specifically ordered not to, to save the other 200 blokes in the camp who had no idea what was going on, from being hung.

Warren Ellis' Thunderbolts during Dark Reign had Norman Osborn (The Green Goblin) as a Warden for a Super Villain Prison, where upon he would select inmates to go on missions in exchange for reductions to their sentence, which is illegal, and exactly what DC's Suicide Squad had been doing since the 80s.

If Emil was on a Thunderbolts mission during Shang Chi, then he is golden.

Blow the Whistle to Congress in exchange for immunity and a commuted sentence, and then you're out buddy.

You know, I've always had the impression that the number of super-beings in the MCU, compared to its comics counterpart, was practically negligible and usually the supervillains (if captured alive) were made to "disappear" without going through official channels, trials or anything else. I wonder if there was really enough work for a one-city-based super law firm

The short run time makes the humor hard to stick the landing on but I have liked the style of it. It strikes me a lot like Boston Legal where the situations make up as much of the humor as the line delivery. Also, it's comedy is melded with comic book drama rather than a straight up comedy, like Boston Legal. However, that does need more time to work well. The show length is better for one liners but the humor seems to be looking for a goal that needs more time to set up and land well. It works for me but 9 episodes, 30 minutes or so, rushing is going to be a thing.

I can't help but notice that list has the titles in reverse-alphabetical order.

    Had a couple thoughts.

The Dude is dead, but they can reference Obidiah Stane as well as Ross, when taking about the founding fathers of the Suicide S... the Thunder Bolts.

    What's Liv Tyler doing?

Betty Ross was the Red She-Hulk for a while.

Liv just doesn’t seem to be interested, or Marvel wasn’t too impressed with her. There’s been multiple spots in the movies they could have mentioned her and didn’t (though Tony kinda did when nicknaming the Hulkbuster ‘Veronica’), and in her one What-If appearance they didn’t even try to make her look or sound like Liv.

I fully expect a recast if we ever see Betty again. Hell, they might even give Jennifer Connelly another shot!

Ironically, Tony gave the the Spider-Man suit in Homecoming Jennifer’s voice (which I assume was an in-joke as she’s married to Paul Bettany, the voice of Jarvis, in real life).

Well they have to do the same if they decide to bring back General Ross in any capacity (unfortunately).

How did I completely miss the amazing easter egg/reference that is Bruce talking to Jen about Blonsky and saying that their fight was so long ago, he's a different man now, literally. Jen actually looks into the camera and goes 'hah'.

    I feel so dumb now.
