Easter eggs include a possible Wolverine reference and, finally, an acknowledgment that there's a giant stone hand sticking out of the ocean.

Yeah, that was another fun one. Weird thing is it both felt like it went by really quickly, and like it was way more substantial than it's 20-25min runtime. There's really not an ounce of fat on this show.
Not sure what, but I was a little surprised that Blonsky was in the DODC prison from Ms. Marvel (though I rather suspect it was designed for this show first), I guess I just assumed he'd be in The Raft. Also, between Bruce's arm and now the cage fight footage, I guess we now have a more firm idea of when the show takes place.

I also kind of love how the "supervillian" that bust in at the end of the previous episode was just a super-powered influencer fleeing traffic court. Honestly, in this day and age it makes WAY more sense (and way easier) for people with super-powers to be cashing in for fame and fortune than robbing banks or other such outdated nonsense (unless of course they're especially stupid.) Furthermore it also makes sense that most of the trouble the law has with such people is for the same petty bad behaviour type crime "normal" jumped up and entitled celebrities and narcissists get into, and that's perfect for a comedic lawyer show.

This episode felt a lot like a pilot. Not a bad thing. It did a really good job IMO setting up the premise of the series. I wonder if D+ should have aired ep 1 and 2 together last week to give audiences a better introduction to what the series is. Ep 1 was the origin story but ep 2 sets up the series.

I think we all predicted Hulk would go off planet. it gets him out of the picture so that the series can focus properly on She-Hulk. And it preemptively deals with the fan question that would come up, "why doesn't Jen ask Hulk to help?". It also teases some future stories for Hulk, I hope we get more Hulk.

Jameela Jamil retweeted it. I have a (not necessarily that serious...) theory that Disney doesn't like her potty mouth and I imagine her going from being herself to passive aggressive to compromise :):

Maybe we could get a whole storyline for Hulk told just through her phone calls and where he is/what he's doing at the time as it furthers with each call. I'm sure some would be quite furious if they did that though...

I think they should have combined last weeks episode and this weeks episode and just did a pilot episode together. These episodes are good, but they are pretty short and just as soon as things start getting interesting the episode ends. Now I wonder if I need to rewatch Incredible Hulk because it's been so long since I've seen that movie. I loved the line Bruce had about literally becoming a new man, even though I kind of wish they had gone a little deeper.

I agree. Both episodes together would have made for decent sized pilot.

A good episode but still setup, i like the style though and obviously will continue to watch.

Damn, good eyes on both of you. I completely missed those. I usually pause for stuff like that but I guess I was too engrossed in the episode this time.

That was a fun second episode. Her being hired just because she's a superhuman seems exactly like the kind of thing you'd see in this situation.
Titania's big attack being her running from traffic court was not what I expected, but was a fun twist on the usual super villain attack.
Loved the stuff with the "reformed" Blonsky.
I have to admit, it hasn't been quite what I expected. When they were talking about it being a sitcom in all of promotional stuff, I was kind of expecting something along the lines of shows like The Big Bang Theory or Parks & Rec, but it's been a bit more subdued that those kind of shows.
Jen's family bombarding her with questions about other superheroes and her reaction was pretty good.
    I loved the mid-credits scene.

I had to explain some of the Blonsky stuff to my wife so I missed some dialog.

It's ok, I'll catch it on the rewatch. :techman:

I hope Blonsky's seven are known as Blonsky's Beauties.*

Wasn't a big fan of the first episode but it was just okay enough to warrant another go. Thought this was better.

I know nothing of the lead actress but she's talented and got charm to spare. The 4th wall break re: Ruffalo / Norton was nicely done.

Watch Orphan Black and then you will get a better idea of the actress.
