My husband has covid and I don't so far. But we have a 14 year old cat and I don't want her to get it. So he is not holding her right now or petting her with his hand, just a brush. It is hard because she is a very cuddly lap cat that is very much in your face and space! Poor kitty she just does not get it. And we have a heat wave coming. Not our cat's favorite thing with the ice cubes in her dish and the wet towel rub downs. But it works. And she has her own tiny cat size fan.

    My pool now.

I love the difference in how Charles eats his watermelon and Mikey eats his.

    Mingo decided to help himself.

I don't know if anyone here is either looking for one or more horses, or is in a position to take one or more, but some of the people who have been working on the neglect case out east are looking for homes for 8 horses. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can DM you information on who to get a hold of.

The thing that pisses me off about all of this, is that if these were cats and dogs these places would be shut down in an instant, but since it's horses it's OK, and nobody does anything about it.

Apparently, all of the shit we see in the AISB video is OK because horses are livestock, which is aggravating to me. I think for most people that haven't horses they're just another pet, like a cat or a dog, and I don't see why they can't get the same kind of rights and protections that they have.
And I don't see why it's OK to treat "livestock" the way these horses are treated, no animal should be treated like that.
