Think I got charged not too long ago for the next special. Guess I just became a minority shareholder or whatever it is when something goes into admin.

I read in a german Sci-Fi Forum they began to refund Paypal payments for preorders since 20.07.

If nothing changes and you paid with Paypal than you should be save. Open a Paypal case...

    Not a shareholder, a creditor.

Indeed. Big difference. Was Eaglemoss even a publicly-held company who had shareholders? Not sure how it works in the UK.

I get the impression that they were what we in the U.S. would consider a privately-held company with investors who became creditors once it went into default/administration, expecting some kind of recompense of their investments following the company's liquidation of all remaining assets. That's provided someone like Elon Musk doesn't come along and buy it all up for pennies on the dollar in an effort to breath new life into it. Weirder things have happened - Toys 'R' Us is making a return here in the 'States and there is still a functioning RadioShack in my town.

^ I'm not too hyped about the "return" of Toys 'Я' Us. It's just a brand name slapped onto the toy department in the back corner of Macy's, and no actual standalone retail stores. I've been to one of the ones they already opened this year, and it was a mess.

Ah, fair enough. Sounds like an In-Name-Only kind of thing. My RadioShack is still a bona-fide RadioShack, though - they have all the wacky rare electronic shit that nobody else has! The place does smell a little funny, though. :D

Well, here's hoping that Eaglemoss fares better, but deep down I sadly doubt it.

It was a joke. Based partially on confusion over gift cards back in the day for various retail chains.

Well, I blame that more on struggles with staffing. I'm at least glad to see them come back, as I very much miss that store.

So, I requested to cancel my order for the golden Enterprise-E and the USS Vancouver through PayPal.
It's been weeks but I'm still processing it all. End of an era.

That's another one that I don't think we'll see the light of day - the gold E-E. I did set a pre-order from Eaglemoss (they never charged for, thankfully). I'm just going to let it ride.

Double checked mine, and did indeed get relay 47… though they overcharged me slightly.
    Ah well.
    End of an era.

Made an request for a 130€ refund, too. Paypal waits 14 days and if Eaglemoss doesn't reply (they will not), than the amount will be refunded. We are not the only one...

Surprisingly, some items on the Eaglemoss store on Amazon are still 'Add to basket'.

Ben Robinson just tweeted these about an hour ago:

"I am no longer an Eaglemoss employee! so I am finally free to talk about what’s going on. This has literally just happened so I want to say two things. The first is that I am so sorry that Eaglemoss’s communication has been non-existent. It’s terrible and I can only apologise."

"The second thing I need to say is that there are people who are interested in taking over the build ups and the other models. It’s too early to make any promises but people are trying and we’ll do everything in our power to make sure these projects continue. CBS are supportive."

So all may not be lost... at least for the Star Trek ranges.

Ben’s a good guy, so it’ll be interesting to see what he has to say.

    Latest update:

"I’ll be talking to @TrekMovie and @trekcore and a DW site soon but in the meantime let me say that people behind the scenes want the Star Trek ships, Ent-D, Doctor Who figurines and all the other ships to continue and I will do everything I can to make sure they do. Be hopeful!"
