I am so excited! Did anyone say if the Rick/Michonne season will be just 1 season? Or could there be more. That kind of makes up for my disappointment that Carol will no longer be on Daryl's show.
I have to admit, I am really really behind in the original Walking Dead. I am currently binging The Orville (loving it) but will go back to TWD after. I am a teacher, so I will try to get caught up before summer break is over.

 

Sounds like 1 season for Rick as they say it will wrap up his storyline. 6 episodes.

It's ok. This is basically season 12 of TWD and that's plenty long enough

 

Are the Daryl and Maggie/Negan shows limited too?

 

Unknown, but they most likely will be, yeah.

 

Interesting. First off, Daryl with rick's gun is very likely a lead-in to the Rick movies. Next, Negan tells someone if they knew who he was--as in his former, head-beating self--I wonder who he's saying that to, and if it casts some darkness on his spinoff with Maggie.

Finally, walkers now open doors and climb..and in one brief shot, a woman was struggling to climb what appeared to be Hilltop's wall, only to be grabbed by the sea of walkers all around her.

Again, interesting.

 

Well, that's apparently the Rick (and Michonne) miniseries now.

The REAL series finale

 

Since TWD audiences were half-faked out (until rescued by Jadis) with Rick's "death" in his final TWD episode, I will go ahead and assume he will be alive and well to walk off into the sunset with Michonne and the kids at the end of this series.

 

I just saw on Facebook that EW has confirmed it is not a limited series. I hope that is correct.

I'm interested in the Terry Crews and Anthony Andrews episodes. The Parker Posey episode looks like a bad 'Ab Fab meets The Walking Dead'.

 

Added Lincoln: "So next year, there's going to be six episodes on AMC+ airing in 2023, so next year there's going to be a lot more to talk about." And then for emphasis, "I personally can't wait to get my cowboys boots back on and get the band back together."

So it's a + exclusive???? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

 

Looking forward to the Rick/Michonne show, but I have to wonder who--if any--TWD characters might make cameo appearances.
