Does anyone know a thing or two about web browsers? There's a site I access every day at work, never had any issues for years. Suddenly it's completely white whenever I go to there. None of the other sites I use are white. When I go into private mode, I can use the site just fine. I've cleared everything and also factory reset the browser but the site still goes white. The weird part is that it goes white on other browsers on my work computer too. But at home I can user it just fine on the same browser brands.
A lot of vague information. What computer OS? What browsers? It's possible the website itself updated and broke some compatability.
Work is Windows 10 Pro. The browsers are Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Home computer with no issues is a Mac. Like I said, I can view the site just fine via private browser. It's not the biggest issue in the world, it's just a baffling situation.
You might need to clean out some cookies that have errant information. The private/incognito mode doesn't use any existing cookies.
I found out this week that my uncle Brian was found dead in his apartment. I'm still a bit numb, but I wrote about him here, if anyone is interested: https://mysanal.dreamwidth.org/743.html
Sorry, I know the feeling of having certain aunts and uncles that I could "let my hair down" with that have passed. Bitch, moan... and laugh together and I miss them. I hope that one day soon you will look back, have a tear sometimes come to your eye and then break out in a big-ass smile thinking of the smiles and memories that were left to you.
I had an aunty like that though not related by family, but we could hang out and chill, talk about anything, and I mean anything. She passed on
the bad uncle's good influence can't be underestimated - i always missed having one (i would have settled for a bad aunt. too) beautyful personal obit (i guess they won't let you do the eulogy) - as long as we remember them they ain't dead
Apparently your office's firewall settings got updated and it's now blocking the site. You can ask your admin to unblock that particular site but chances are slim that they will do it unkess you can prove that you require access for your work. But as you say you can access the site in the browser's private mode, there's not really a problem as far as I can see. That's terrible. I am so sorry
