Still nothing new for me to buy, then! The usual page has now been updated. Nothing there beyond what @Koric and @Turbo have already identified. Sale prices valid until May 29.
May 2022 Star Trek eBook deals - Available until May 29. https://www.simonandschuster.com/p/star-trek-ebook-deals
So that makes it now 2016 or 2017 the first time, 2019 a second sale and now 2022. @Corran Horn I for one am grateful and glad that we have our thread on here to archive these sales. I think it’s important to note for new Trek ebook readers and others who are coming in fresh, or maybe older ebook readers that they have a second chance to jump in and grab some of these older ebooks as well and join the party too. Although. I would have thought older time period ebooks closer story wise to the STRANGE NEW WORLDS tv series debuting on May 5th, like the STRANGE NEW WORLD collections or more older TOS stories. Also go for broke and have a huge list of .99 cents Trek ebooks sale to steal the thunder from May the Fourth for Star Wars during the weekend, would be an excellent opportunity, right? Duke it out mano y mano. Who the hell is driving this crazy train? Be big, be bold, be brave. It’s Trek. -Koric
this is a nice month for me. I only just discovered these monthly e-book sales late last year. So i've been building up quite the e-book collection.
Still wait for Simon and Schuster UK to flick there "Sale Switch" for May 2022 over. All I've noticed so far is three books from April 2022 has fell off, so they've gone from 23-20 in the "Under £1.99" section. The above are yet to be listed.
The books are now on sale on Amazon UK. In addition, the TOS/VOY book No Time Like the Past by Greg Cox is also on sale as part of the main Amazon Monthly Deals.
It's quite obvious, I think, that the person pulling together these sales isn't a marketing guru. My marketing self tells me I would have offered all of the Pike novels (Vulcan's Glory, The Rift, Legacy, Burning Dreams, The Children of Kings, and am I forgetting any?) and the Legacies trilogy this month to coincide with the debut of Strange New Worlds.
You're forgetting Where Sea Meets Sky. Should also put all the SNW anthologies on sale to catch confused people who just type "star trek strange new worlds" into Amazon.
All of this month's deals seem to fit with Picard. They either feature him or are set post-Nemesis. Perhaps June or July will have more TOS/Pike offerings once a following for SNW is more established.
Thanks for this, I've just grabbed them all now off Google Play Books so I can download them for my Moon Reader.
Looks like the June monthly deals are online though the deal page doesn't have anything listed yet. The following are on sale at Kobo: Discovery: Dead Endless Titan: Over a Torrent Sea Titan: Fortune of War Titan: Fallen Gods Titan: Sight Unseen Titan: The Red King Titan: Synthesis TNG: Losing the Peace TNG: Collateral Damage
Nice, I am missing several of the Titan titles, it will be nice to pick those up! I'm not sure if I already have the TNG titles but I picked up Dead Endless in a previous sale.
Taking Wing, The Red King, and the e-novella Absent Enemies are all also on sale from the Titan series.
Nice! I believe the newer Titan novels and Collateral Damage are all new to the monthly sales. Actually, in looking at it, it's a little unusual: Taking Wing and The Red King had been part of previous sales (and are repeated here), and now we've got Over a Torrent Sea through Fortune of War, but I don't think either Orion's Hounds or Sword of Damocles have ever been part of a monthly sale. (And those two are both $19.99 in Canada. ) Looks like the page has now been updated. https://www.simonandschuster.com/p/star-trek-ebook-deals ETA: Sorry, I think I was originally mistaken, I think The Red King is actually new to the monthly sales this month, too. Sorry about that.
wow this will be an outstanding month for me. Out of that entire list, the only books i have in e-book format are DISC: Dead Endless and TNG: Losing the Peace.
I picked up a lot of post-Nemesis ebooks this month, thanks to this sale. If you like Riker/Troi/Vale or strange aliens exploring, then these Titan books are well worth a look.
