My mom and I go hiking a lot at a park near us, and I always get a kick out of checking out all of the different footprints, with human shoe prints, horse hoof and boot prints, dog paw prints, and wild animasl, like birds, and squirrles, and even the occasional snake trails all mixed together on the path. I often wonder if people came back in a few thousand years, and found all of these prints preserved, what they would think was going on with this massive jumble of human and animal prints.

Sedition is trying to destroy a country, or at least a government. People who seek to fix what they feel is wrong with their country (especially by simple exercise of free speech) are not guilty of it in any way.

Saw an article on NPR about a woman who once wrote an article called, "How to Murder Your Husband."
She was just convicted of murdering her husband.

I guess they probably should have seen that coming. :vulcan:

In the 50s song 'Wake Up Little Susie', I wonder if it ever occurred to the narrator that if his friends jumped to the conclusion that they had slept together just because Susie got home late, it would be Susie's reputation that is shot, not his.

Oh............ OK I never thought of that either now I do.
Funny if you listen to a lot of old songs of a similar nature there's a ton of innuendo on show.

Sad but true. And it was still a thing in the 80's and 90's, when I was a kid. "Studs" vs. "Sluts", and all.

In my earlier posts about giving up working on going vegan, I forgot that I did give up one dairy product, butter. I found a Country Crock plant based butter that's really good, I went from dairy butter to it in just a day or two and really couldn't tell the difference.

I believe that's called "margarine." It's fine to use margarine if you're trying to avoid animal products. But real dairy butter is probably healthier for you.

did you know that we (germany) invented both ...

... the colonial viper and the klingon bird of prey (all they did was elongating the neck and consolidating both heads into one) during world war II?

Both links lead to an error message.
Oh, I didn't realize that. I though margarine was still dairy based. I guess I'll just get margarine next time.
While it's nice that she stopped him, I just hope the conservative assholes don't use this as a reason why more people should be carrying guns.

The Dr. Strange movie creeped me out when the Scarlet Witch's fingers turned a purply black because when I found my husband dead, his fingers had turned a purple-black which is why I realized he was dead and not just sleeping. Seeing that on screen was shocking to me and sad.
