What's the purpose of Grudge

When will Chester get any cat love. O'Brien did good by Bilby except the part where he got him and then his wife killed by taking care of his cat.

To be cute and to show us from the start that Book was a big softie. Every Trek show could use a cat. TOS could've used more cats, especially since Spock was clearly a cat person.

 

I think every show had at least one cat except Voyager. Neelix was the closest they got to one.

 

neelix isn't a cat he's a monkey and everyone knows that monkey are disgusting creature

 

Monkeys are great. Cats are as well. If only they could be merged together to create a even more cooler being. A Cankey or a Monkat.

I forgot about that cat. Of course no cats would be allowed on Enterprise. Porthos would never allow a mortal enemy onboard. Humans may have evolved past racism in Trek but Cats and Dogs living together in unity is still the impossible dream.

 

Does a pet need a purpose? What a weird thread. I suppose if Grudge has any purpose at all, it's to keep Book company. That's what my kitty is for.

 

Grudge's purpose is to get attention and head rubs. Belly rubs if you're willing to risk a limb.

 

It just occurred to me that Grudge's purpose is to hold a Grudge! Who is it that Grudge hates the most and won't let the anger go.
