Well, they did kind of have the reunion as part of Frasier. Speaking of which, given that there have been rumours of a Frasier sequel series, I'd be nice to mash the two together, Frasier and Cheers. Given that Frasier would be retired, maybe he starts up a new bar, hires Woody, and next thing you know, Norm moves in, etc.

I am really looking forward to this show. Red Forman was my favorite character on That 70's show.

Hulu has a reboot of Hellraiser coming out next year with Jamie Clayton as Pinhead. Clive Barker is producing it after finally getting the rights back. I’m looking forward to it, I love the first two movies but the rest are all increasingly terrible. Most horror franchises die as soon as they go into space, but like a soul tortured in Hell they kept dragging it down from there. I adore Jamie Clayton so I can’t wait to see what she does with Pinhead.

Didn't Doug Bradley once say he wanted to do a Hellraiser movie where Pinhead is absolutely, irrevocably, finally, killed off, with no chance of bringing him back?

Arguably, Bloodline qualifies as such, since chronologically it is the "latest" film in the series...

I can't remember who it was, but I remember a few years back a showrunner of a popular ongoing series that was well past his prime was interviewed, and he was asked something like "What do you say to people who feel like [your show] should have ended years ago, and now it's a shell of itself?"

And he answered that that's easy to say, but less easy to do. The story & show quality aren't the only things that you have to consider. There are hundreds of people who work on the show, and only a few of them are making millions of dollars a year - the rest rely on their biweekly paycheque to feed their families and pay their mortgages. When the network comes by promising to keep those people employed for another 3 year contract it's easy to imagine yourself saying "No, the story is complete, I want to end my show with dignity, at it's height" and less easy to say the same thing to your staff, who need this job to survive in the world. Ultimately, the people who work on the show having jobs is more important than the people who criticize the show for not being as good as it used to be.

Just something I thought of re the above "They should stop making these" comments.

Supposedly Mark Harmon was ready to quit NCIS until they told him the show would go with him, and he didn't want to cost everyone their jobs. Ellen Pompeo may be in a similar situation with Grey's Anatomy.

^I suspect it's a similar situation with Mariska Hargitay over on L&O:SVU.

CBS will be Magnificent Ferengi'ing Mark Harmon's corpse through new episodes of NCIS 60 years from now, and he'll still be younger than 87% of the shows audience.

    He set the bar.
A bar even I can't live up to IRL.
So glad he's back on #That90sShow
I am sorry the original Aunt Laurie can't stop by.
A recast version might be "the cool Aunt/Tia" to daughter Foreman.

I sort of got the Sam episode but was surprised when others showed up fairly deep into the shows run when Frasier was very much holding its own.

I did enjoy them mostly though, the trip to Boston when a few of the cast appeared was good but its a shame they couldn't be at cheers, I'm assuming either a rights issue or just the cost of reproducing the cheers set for a one off prevented it.

I think of all the main cast members who were alive only Rebecca didn't appear on Frasier.

I'm sure it's been said before but I would love an Early Edition sequel etc, I don't think Kyle Chandler has aged a day since then.

We had the ten danson serving behind the bar in the good place and throwing the towel over his shoulder moment which was quite cool.

Sounds like they’re looking at remaking The English Patient. Talk about unnecessary.
