Took a trip to the Houston Museum of Fine Art yesterday for my birthday. Hubby and I go to climb through the Ernesto Neto "environmental art" on display. It was very cool. The huge netted structure is suspended from the ceiling and the flooring is tightly compacted plastic balls, and you walk through it, holding on to the webbing, and it goes into a big spiral with three different paths which all lead to the center and then out. Was actually a bit of a workout, just to stay upright. Entrance: Exit:
From Ashley National Forest, Utah. Bighorn sheep: After he laid down for a rest: Juvenile Cooper's Hawk or maybe Goshawk, hard to identfy from above. Steller's Jay: And a rather ominous pre-Halloween grouping of three Turkey Vultures.
