Slightly off-topic here, but the way Ratcatcher2 and her rats appeared in "The Suicide Squad" kind of gave me an idea of how Squirrel Girl and her squirrels could appear in live-action CGI.

So Disney have nailed down four release dates for 2024. That's on top of the five they've got staked out for 2023.

    https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/marvel-studios-adds-four-new-movies-to-release-schedule/

Out of those nine we definitely know four; Ant-Man 3, GOTG 3, Fantastic Four and Captain America 4. We can safely add Shang-Chi 2 to that, as well. So that leaves four unknowns. Maybe, Young Avengers, X-Men and a two-part Secret Wars? Does Deadpool 3 count as a MCU movie?

We know Quantumania and Vol. 3 are in 2023 (February 17 and May 5, respectively), so that leaves three more in 2023. I'm guessing Captain America 4 will be one of those three.

Along with Fantastic Four and possibly Deadpool 3 (whether or not it's part of the count and possibly starts filming next year), there's also Blade which expects to start filming in July 2022.

I think the mutant movie will be in 2024. While early signs suggest that Shang-Chi will get a sequel, nothing is confirmed and even then, it'll be out in 2024 at the earliest.

I'm betting that the Young Avengers will be a Disney+ event.

    So in simpler terms:

    2023
    Quantumania
    Vol. 3
    Captain America 4 (maybe)
    Deadpool 3 (maybe)
    Blade (maybe)

    2024
    Fantastic Four
    Mutants (maybe)
    Shang-Chi 2 (maybe)

Assuming that's all correct, that leaves one last big question mark for 2024.

For "Young Avengers", I read Avengers 5. As for any adaptation of Shooter and Zeck's Secret Wars, the Russo brothers now seem to be taking an "if Scarlett can't trust you, why should we?" stance.

She still is, so they had the "cute and adorable" part covered.

Have you seen her in Other Space? She also HAS played Squirrel Girl in the animated Marvel Rising movies. My hubby and I both have crushes on her.

So I finally found Other Space. I didn't even remember Yahoo tried making shows, but it's probably a good thing they stopped.

It's kind of a cheap, dumb funny show. I'm on episode 3 and it just hit me that Michael is Eugene Cordero (aka: Rutherford on Lower Decks and Casey on Loki). It was the voice that finally clicked.

Kinda reminds me of the pilot for Star Patrol in the cheesiness department ;)

The Thunderbolts? They're definitely putting the pieces in place for that.

Yeah, even as someone who is completely unaware of them, I've seen enough people talk about that possibility based who has appeared or will appear. That said, I wonder if it'll also be a Disney+ event like the Young Avengers...and perhaps leading to a bigger event a la The Defenders. Or something

Honestly, I hope not but I realize I'm probably in the minority on that. I'm not a zombie fan (aside from 28 Days Later) and I only enjoyed the What If...? episode because it was short and sweet. Animation probably helped, too.

However, Bleeding Cool reporting on a newsletter that says there's "buzz" is absolutely meaningless.

Well, Thunderbolts have a long history of being Marvel's worst and least interesting super team, and how there's enough interest in Marvel Zombies to sustain a comic let alone a movie escapes me.

I know they pulled it off with Guardians and other unpromising titles, but Marvel really do like to make life difficult for themselves don't they ?

That buzz you hear is actually murder hornets ;) just like the "light at the end of the tunnel" is usually a train.

Mark Millar is hardly a nobody when it comes to Marvel Comics, though. He may be a shithead edgelord whose best days are far, far behind him, but if he says he's heard of something potentially in the works, there's likely at least a kernel of truth to it.

Did he work on the zombie comics? Otherwise, he's just a writer with a blog. Yeah, a well-known one but he has no connections to the MCU as far as I'm aware.
