I really like the look of this series. Maybe it’s just going to pop in 4K, (can this series be in 4K please) but just the colors and vibrancy looks gorgeous. I do need to rewatch the trailer because I had the volume low but I’m surprisingly looking forward to this children’s series now.

Then there's the odd case of Walter Tetley, an actor from the early days of radio and TV who, for unclear reasons, retained a childlike appearance and voice throughout his adult life (there were rumors that he'd been castrated, or it may have been a medical syndrome), and so he made a career playing child characters in both live action and animation, notably Andy Panda and Mr. Peabody's sidekick Sherman.

I know the mods hate this but...it's probably time for a Prodigy subforum.

Jeez... I think I could have gone the whole rest of my life without ever seeing one of those Kazon idiots in the franchise again.

    Reserving...judgment...until...I...SEE IT...

    Fuck that hurt to say...

Considering where this show may be taking place in the galaxy, not unsurprising. But yeah, maybe they've gotten less idiotic?

    Hope springs eternal.

Hell, if the Borg didn't want them (with Seven saying they were "unoworthy" of assimilation), I suspect they probably haven't climbed that many rungs on the old evolutionary ladder since last they graced our screens with their presence.

Even the Packleds as they're appearing on LDS are probably more worthy of the Borg's interest than the Kazon are now.

The Pakleds have stolen pretty much (absolutely?) everything they have from other races the Borg probably already know about.

Is there an international trailer for people outside the US?

The Borg's lack of interest in the Kazon was presumably not about their genetics (since they seem a fairly robust species physically), but their technology. After all, the Kazon didn't really have any technology of their own, just what they liberated from their Trabe enslavers.

We have a title. We have an airdate (in just over a month). We have clips and pictures and trailers. Everything we should need for a proper forum.

But I guess all that's still not enough for any of the mods to create one. Oh well. Maybe we'll get one on the day of the premiere, or the week after.

Not really, no, since you still need a mod to manage it.

I believe that most of us around here can attest to that. :nyah:

If the opening credits of the show are anything to go by, we are truly going to some "strange new worlds" in this show. I love it when Star Trek gets into the REALLY weird stuff. A giant eyeball in space? A giant space robot? A holographic AI space being? Weird space bubble things? I love it!!! THAT is the kind of imagination and creativity that makes me love Star Trek so much! And that is why I really love Star Trek: TMP (because V-Ger is so strange and bizarre).

These are the kinds of things we need more of in Star Trek. Enough with the humanoid aliens that was so prevalent in TOS, TNG, VOY, and DS9 (and yes, I know they had to do that because of budgetary reasons). One of the reasons I really like ENT, Disco, Picard, and Lower Decks is because they have tried to veer away from humanoid aliens and have shown us the weirdness of space.

No love for TAS? They had the most “out there” alien designs.

Well, I appreciated TAS for its imagination but I thought it was a pretty bad show with only like two good episodes lol.
