My beautiful redhead is back and I had the most interesting dream last night. Again my tall redhead with the really long hair and me were together, the same one from many of my other dreams and we were standing on a high balcony leaning on a rail looking down at a small see of planes taking off and one by one they took off and headed towards the sky, then someone came up to us and handed us envelopes and said our plane was due to take off and we walked down the stairs to the ground below and to our plane, I took a window seat and she sat next to me holding my hand and I looked out the window as we moved along the ground. I kept watching as we rose into the sky and turned, and could see where we were now as we turned around and saw the spot we were standing watching get smaller and smaller as we moved away then a feeling came over me of I'd never be returning home again, but heading to other places..
I dreamed last night that I was grocery shopping and at the end of the aisle, I saw a mother scolding a little toddler and then the mother put the kid down and walked away. The child toddled down the aisle and I went to her and talked to her, because I was afraid for her. I picked her up and she babbled to me as I went up and down aisles looking for her mother. Couldn't find the mother, so I woke up.
That sounds scary actually. Poor kid. I wonder why I keep seeing the same woman all the time, the feeling is I know her or will know her at some point in the future, just she keeps appearing in a lot of my dreams and we're often doing things together.
My dream was like a comedy sketch, but felt kind of dark and creepy. I was standing in a street at night, looking at a church that was kind of angular 60s design with all glass window 'storefront.' A guy dressed like a bishop, with robes and hat, was doing some ritual, looking like he was holding a big Bible and bent over to pray. It looked exaggerated and comical. Somehow I knew that he was hiding some fugitive, somehow in his big robes or something. I could hear voices in the street of people searching for the fugitive. Then another guy similarly dressed was taking over the bishop guy's spot so he could get away with the fugitive. The second guy held up a big advertising sign that said "FORCED CONVERSIONS." This drew the attention of the people in the street, and they started going after that guy. Kor
Last nights dream was space battles, and it was like giant ships going boom and lots of explosions and fast pace. And we flew at the Earth and smashed it punching a hole right through the planet.... Well that was fun.
I was strapped to some sort of large throne, being held at gun point and told I was going to die. It was horrifying... and that's all I can recall. It was an enormous relief to wake up from that. I really felt like my life was going to end and was internally preparing myself for the nano-second of pain before the nothing.
Last night's dream was a little more ordinary then the last dream I posted... So I was browsing a used book store late at night. There was kind of an open central area, and then an elevated platform around the edges, that you accessed with small stairways. The owner was a friendly older guy. He was saying something as I bought a couple of hardcover ‘coffee table’ books at the counter. But I can’t remember what he was saying. I went out into the parking lot and walked a long ways to my car. It was really dark outside. The temperature was cool, and the sky seemed clear. I finally got to the car and opened a door. It was some kind of sedan with a really roomy interior (it seemed bigger on the inside). A lady friend of mine was in the vehicle (not anybody I recognized from real life). She was laying on the floor and seemed rather drowsy. We made small talk, and I found that she had been waiting there for me for several hours. I felt bad since I didn’t realize that. So I joined her on the floor of the vehicle, embracing her tenderly. She started to nuzzle her face into my neck. It was really nice. But then I woke up. Kor
I had a dream sort of like that, once. I was with a bunch of people in a house where the side facing the ocean was all tall windows and there was a hurricane in progress. We could see the waves getting bigger and wilder and I suddenly realized that there was no way any of us were going to survive this. This feeling was so strong and real! Then I woke up with such a feeling of doom. I was so bothered by this dream that I have remembered it for several years.
good morning, i just woke up. i remember what i dreamt, i know i have had different versions of it, i win money. but it's not very much, but its ok, like 500 to 600 dollars, and always in small coins(?) because of the small currency i have to carry this arround in a couple of bags/pouches. ...
The dreams involving vivid apocalyptic events or events that otherwise would bring about one's demise are the worst. And they always seem to be the most vivid of all... I had some in this vein from when I was a little kid (so, decades ago) that I can recall and it's because they were so vivid and ominous.
The thing is, when I had this dream I wasn't living where there was a possibility of hurricanes blowing in, but now I do.
I've never had an apocalyptic dream and probably don't want to but I guess punching a hole through the Earth in a starship could be considered making my own unique event.
My dream last night started out as one of those things where you're playing a video game but you're also the character in the video game. Then I was staying with family at some hotel. The room was the filthiest room I'd ever seen and even had birds and frogs coming in and out of the room. But I was the only one bothered by it and everyone was acting like I was being demanding and unreasonable by being bothered by this. Then it ended with going into the room and a hawk perching on my head.
In last night's dream I was in some kind of lecture hall with an acquaintance and a few other people I didn't know. I was at the front like I was going to give a presentation. The guy I knew was talking to the others about music, and how pianos are fundamentally evil. They were listening intently as he explained. I thought that was an extreme viewpoint, so I tried to introduce a different perspective. I talked about how there was an older lady almost like an auntie to me, who played the piano well. They all looked at me incredulously. Later I was in some house hanging out with another guy friend and a lady friend we knew. It was kind of a goodbye for the guy friend, who was going away somewhere. I was trying to get the lady friend's attention but she kept ignoring me. I went outside to get something. We were on a farm property with a few buildings and rolling green hills. The sky was mostly clear and blue with just a few clouds. I went up to a barn. Just as I was about to open the door, I heard the lady friend calling out and running up from the house. I turned around as she came up to me. She said the guy friend had left, and now she really wanted to play some games with me. She was holding this big thing that looked like an elementary school arts and crafts project. Before I could answer her, I woke up. Kor
I dreamed that I was wandering around in a big outdoor plant emporium, trying to decide on which Fall plants to buy, when I noticed that a guy that looked like Savant from The Suicide Squad was following me around. He started talking to me and seemed pleasant, but he still creeped me out. My surroundings changed but I don't remember that part of the dream.
Last night I dreamed my late husband and I were walking around and some people started chasing us. We ran and made it back to our car, which looked like one of those huge old Cadillac pimpmobiles, and jumped in. The strange thing was that I was behind the wheel and Mr. Velocity was always the driver. Then he turned to me and said his chest hurt so we ran around looking for the hospital I used to work at. (yes, we didn't take the pimpmobile, stupid dream) We walked into an old building and walked around looking for the ER but didn't find it. I grabbed the sleeve of some guy who was walking out a door and asked him where the hospital was and told us we were IN the hospital. So then we found the ER and I talked to the desk clerk while Mr. Velocity waited at the back of the room in front of a wall of windows. Then I woke up. I think my subconscious is still trying to save my husband from dying.
I have these bittersweet dreams about my late sister from time to time. She's back in our house. Everyone in the family is cheerfully chatting with one another. Her presence feels so real, and yet deep down inside, I know something is different, that this isn't the way things really are.
After the hospital dream, I dreamed that I was a member of one of three competing teams. We had to make something out of the pieces/parts we were issued. Suddenly, we were all developing beautiful works of art (I guess you would call them) that glimmered and shined with iridescent and neon type colors in invisible or clear tubes (the room was dark). The colors moved, swirling, and changing in the tube structures which interconnected. It was wonderful and soothing after the previous dream.
Last night I dreamed that I was walking along some hospital corridors on my way to a meeting/conference. There were the usual donuts on offer but since I'm diabetic I told them I don't eat that stuff. Shortly after that I found a partially eaten donut in my hand. Hoping no one would notice, I hid it behind the meeting handout I was carrying. I think I ate what was left just to get rid of it, hoping again that no one would notice. I am sure this dream is the result of my son baking a treat for me. It isn't terribly bad because it was a Keto brownie with Keto frosting, but I didn't really want it. I don't need or want treats as a rule and it's easier to stick to my diabetic diet without them, but I feel obligated to eat them if made by a family member.
