I've been rewatching seasons one and two recently and I've really enjoyed them as nostalgic comfort watching. But I hope season three carves out more of it's own identity rather than being so "remember 90's Star Trek?"

Germany at the moment........I didn't try it with a VPN so it could be a Europe thing.

EDIT: It may be under the STAR banner which is a whole other hub that some countries don't have.

IIRC, The Orville seasons 1 and 2 have been available on Canadian Disney+ under the Star content since the spring.

Sadly, I don't think we have the Star content here in the US.

I just checked a few hours ago, and THE ORVILLE is not on Disney+.

Might be a rights/contract issue within the U.S.

Most likely with Hulu........the rest of the world seems to have the STAR option on Disney since Hulu isn't international.

I just checked and The Orville is on Hulu. So are Buffy, Angel, and Firefly, which means not having to pull out my DVDs.

What kind of stuff do you guys have on Disney+ Star? It sounds like it's pretty much just the stuff that we have on Hulu here in the US.

I don't know exactly, but we do get some. The Orville just arrived in my country this week, though I haven't felt the need to do another rewatch yet.

In fact, I have mainly been rewatching 9-1-1. Both 9-1-1 shows are on Star, with the exception of the most recent seasons, which have only just finished on Sky TV. I might recommend it to some Orville fans. True, there is more blood, and it can embarrassingly soapy. But many of the emergencies are absolutely hilarious.

Anyway, I think there are several Hulu originals which don't already have alternative distribution in my country. The first one I tried (believe it or not) was Only Murders In The Building.

Remember that Hulu was originally designed as a collaboration between the U.S. networks (or, rather, their respective corporations) to combat illegal video downloads and get a foothold in streaming. It slowly whittled down to being a Disney-owned entity.

At some point, they just need to merge Hulu and Disney+ and make Hulu the "adult" section of Disney+.

Speaking only for my family, not for us. It is our go to for watching network television, since it gets most NBC, ABC, Fox, and FX shows next day, and for us ad free. The only reason we now have "traditional" TV (even AT&T's service (who our apartment complex is locked in a contract with) is now streaming through an app) is because we had to take in my mother in law and she refuses to use a streaming model. She wants to sit and surf channels and will only watch whatever comes in that way. I've watched a few of the Hulu originals, but it isn't my primary use for the service. My biggest fear when Disney got control was they would eventually shut down the next day TV content.
