I had to pause and count. lol Only 4 of 12 use the formula. 8 others with unique names. "Fascinating"
Now add in about a dozen fan films using it and when Discovery was announced I was thinking it was a bad ans generic naming choice.
I kind of like the design, although I don't know how to feel about the glass bridge section and the scale.
Same. Ships are pretty but not characters. I'll be more interested in the Protostar after seeing the characters interact with it.
I'd even argue that at this point they don't all have to have Star Trek in the title. Picard, for example.
And while we all raged about it at the time, in retrospect I see nothing wrong with it. No one is going to think a show called Enterprise is anything other than a Star Trek spinoff. Same with Picard. Now Prodigy obviously needs the Star Trek name since its specific title isn't a familiar name from the franchise. It can get somewhat redundant. Imagine if the superhero movies did it and they were all called things like Justice League: Aquaman or Avengers: Black Widow.
I preferred when it was just called "Enterprise" and had the slower-tempo theme song. The series itself got better in Seasons 3 and 4 but the title and music didn't. They should have just left well enough alone in 2003. Who is going to think a series named "Enterprise" with starships, Klingons and warp drive ISN'T Star Trek?
ah, yes, I’ve never been a fan of Faith of the Hearth, but at least it was a singable, somewhat inspiring, ballad , the uptempo version was awful.
