But is the bridge rotated because Starfleet is a military with money?

Whenever Kirk swivels his chair, it's actually the rest of the bridge that rotates.

I've found proof that the bridge was set at a 35.5° angle.

Do we know the ship isn't just tilted on the picture to fit better on the page? Maybe the rest of the ship should be angled.

Captain's log: Using the light speed breakaway factor, the TrekBBS has moved back through time to the twentieth century. We are now in extended orbit around Earth in the year 1968, using our board's deflector shields to remain unobserved. Our mission, historical research. We are beaming down to Hollywood to ask Matt Jefferies if the nub is the turbolift housing.

You also found proof that there is an orthographically challenged person in the world.

Speaking Jung-ily as a person with mild OCD: Kirk, the in-dividuated (un-divided) man sits in the center of the squared circle with animus-logic to his right and anima-passion (McCoy) to his left (the heart side).

This squared circle with the complete human at the center must be in alignment with the ship's center line.

QED The bridge is not at a funny angle.

    36 degrees isn't a funny angle. It's a... acute one.

How can we know if the bridge is straight? To my knowledge, we never saw it dock with another bridge...

Speaking of the bridge being sunken into the teardrop shape, in this diagram the only full deck in that structure is Deck 2.

And didn't the TOS Enterprise have 23 decks or was that a later retcon and diagram?
