Thank you. I see the one. The link was posted without letting us know what it was to. We had to be either psychic or willing to click it, to find out.

Well that explains why Peter's rarely sus in California anymore. Since he's already been listed as a vexatious litigant with numerous sanctions against him; yeah anything he files in a California court will have to be absolutely squeaky clean and he better be able to back up everything he alleges against a party with irrefutable hardcore evidence.

As for the dismissal in a incorrect venue costing Robert Mayer Burnett $30,000<--- Mr Burnett is either an idiot or he's not telling the whole story because there's no way filing a dismissal response based on incorrect venue cost $30,000 unless the legal firm doing it is completely incompetent/RMB brought in some sort of prestigious law firm that works for billionaires.

Something there in that story just doesn't pass the smell test - or there's some other aspect that's being left out of the story RMB told Jenkins.

But yeah that's why you never want to get involved in litigation with someone who has no issues filing lawsuits at the drop of a hat. Everything can add up quickly, and yeah it seems Peter's has already done so much of it in California, the California legal system has already sanctioned him for frivolous lawsuits to the extreme.

Not only could they perform due diligence, but they also received specific warnings about doing business/doing projects with Peters and chose to ignore those warnings. Jenkins won't get a penny of my money, he knew what he was getting into.

It seems to be that going after Alec so publicly is only to Jenkins' advantage if he plans to make money off of it for the long term. I can't imagine anyone in Hollywood would want to work with someone who made a scathing documentary about one of his former business partners. He basically put up a sign saying "this is how hard I will f#$% you if you cross me".

I did too, which is why I will not be donating to ANY film unless it's a donation after it is released :-)

Jeez, after all these years this is careering on like a drunk Horta? I’d really like to know what return regular contributors think they’re getting. How many things can you sew those dumb patches onto?

The only person I would trust to make a documentary about the Axanar debacle is Carlos Pedroza aka Axamonitor.

Axanarists are the Q-anon people of Trek fandom. They won't go away. They've latched on to their own hopeless stupid case that they wont let go of. I know one. She thinks Prelude is canon and anything from Disco onward is not.

I once spoke to a fan on Facebook who insisted her Picard/Riker fanfic was canon. And that Pocket were "considering" releasing it as a novel. And then a bunch of newbies all with blank accounts joined the conversation to agree with all her points.

    Fandom is a funny place.

What is more interesting, if a bit more concerning, is how much weight is given to things as canon. Like, you can ignore Discovery (I highly recommend it) and embrace Axanar all you want. It won't change CBS' mind at all but why worry canon so much that you through behind it with such fervor? People are confusing.

Worrying about the minutiae of an emphemeral nonexistant world outside of your own control beyond the same daydreaming we all did as children is a kind of comfort food for the mind. Whether it is bad for us or not, who knows. On some level or not, this being a fandom forum, we all engage in it.
