    That's a cool picture.
It irks me a teeny bit that a bit of the saucer is off the edge. I feel like Undoing Change in my Photos app and re-crop it.

Ah, looks like Memory Beta already has a page about the trilogy!

Man, I've missed so much TrekLit in the last few years, I'm not sure picking this up and reading them will make much sense to me.

The authors have said that there will be a précis of important events at the start of each part - they said four or five pages, in the "Previously on..." vein - to provide readers with context. So that may help!

As for the cover, it is a bit underwhelming - the phaser error notwithstanding (the fact that it bisects the logo bothers me as well), I was hoping for something a bit more epic to go along with the scale of the story. Assuming it is a triptych, I can see the parallels with the Cold Equations covers in the linked background possibilities, but a simple forward-angled-ship image doesn't really evoke much for me. Presumably, the others will be Titan and possibly Aventine?

I’m guessing the next will be Titan and the third will be both Aventine and Robinson.

Cool Cover art I'm looking forward to reading this book miniseries. I'm glad Ben Sisko is going to be in the books again.

Still can't believe we are getting a finale! Cover looks pretty cool but. I certainly miss covers with characters in cool mashups.

I haven't read much since the Cold Equations trilogy, but I'm going to pick these up. I should at least finish the TNG novels.

That was a touching read, and I can understand your feelings about this continuity coming to and end. I loved hearing how Star Trek impacted you when you were a kid, and how the novels continued your journey with Star Trek when all of the series had ended. I like to keep hope alive that Coda will not be the end. At some point, we may see a novel or two that dips its toe into the Treklit continuity again.

I assume this is only in paperback format? Amazon had a hardback version listed but I assume that was a mistake

I'm likely to buy these as they release, I just hope they don't end up on sale for ninety-nine cents three months later...

Correct: trade paperback, eBooks, and digital audiobook formats only, at least for now.

The Amazon page for Moments Asunder also lists an audio CD for $44.99. Is that a mistake?

I don't think so. The same format is listed for all three books of the trilogy. I think it's for those who either want or need to have the audiobook on physical media rather than a licensed download.

Well, TrekCentral found the back cover blurb for Moments Asunder:

    Tomorrow is doomed
Time is coming apart. Countless alternate and parallel realities are under attack, weakening and collapsing from relentless onslaught. If left unchecked, the universe faces an unstoppable descent toward entropy.

    Wanderer, oracle, ally
Scarred and broken after decades spent tracking this escalating temporal disaster, while battling the nameless entity responsible for it, an old friend seeks assistance from Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Starship Enterprise. The apocalypse may originate from their future, but might the cause lie in their past?

    Everything that will be
Identifying their adversary is but one step toward defeating them, but early triumphs come with dreadful costs. What will the price be to achieve final victory, and how will that success be measured in futures as yet undefined?
