I really hate when they picture dogs dying in movies. I just watched Saint Laurent last night and was fucking really annoyed. I just feel like it’s so unnecessary.
We have 112 today outside! Yipe, not used to it. A record for our area, most of us don't have AC. I know people who have been giving their dogs ice cubes to eat/lick. Does your dog like ice cubes??
Man that’s hot. It’s in the 90s here. Ive just been keeping these two inside mostly. We don’t have grass and the pavement is white hot, it burns their paws really bad.
Yeah, we've given them ice cubes before and they like them, but now the way we've been cooling the off is with frozen yogurt my mom made for them. She bought some Greek yougurt, and she mixed peanut butter in it. She froze it, and now she gives to them as a treat after we've been out for walks or to the dog park when it's hot.
I agree. How can they (even fictionally) kill a doggo, and expect us to be entertained? That just leaves me depressed for a good week or more. There should be a law against that, or at least a strong warning label like the ones they force on cigarette packages.
I totally agree. It makes me physically uncomfortable and I feel sick. Especially in the specific movie I watched, since the scene was so graphic. Spoiler: The graphic scene… The two main characters were heavily addicted to pills and they spilled them all over the floor while they were high. Their French bulldog licked them all up (about 40 pills) and then you watch for several minutes as he has a very violent overdose and seizure. It was seriously traumatizing to then after find out this is a true story and that actually happened. If you read that, I’m sorry if you feel sick too. I just felt I needed to clarify exactly how awful the depiction was. I agree that something needs to be done about this.
with Australia back in a covid lockdown, people have been hording loo paper. The following has been suggested as way of ensure supplies are rationed.
Australia is currently in the midst of a toilet paper shortage due to covid inspired hoarding so when a friend's spare supply got damp she had to put in front of the heater and told her daughter to watch it. the kid kept an eye on things for a few minute then disappeared result in a major lesson - don't leave toilet paper around when you have a dog (in this case a kelpie).
When I came back into the living room after showering this morning, this is what I found on the loveseat where I usually sit.
