I call her the Aymara-class: Direct Link: https://i.postimg.cc/mrSrfMp6/Concept-Federation-Aymara-Class-00.jpg
Ah a platypus Seems like a b/c deck instead of just the bridge would work better? Doesn't have to be an oval like the tos. Just seems tacked on as an afterthought .. Otherwise very nice!
Here is something else I am working on...Taino-class destroyer: Direct Link: https://i.postimg.cc/C5752jqw/Concept-Federation-Taino-Class-TOS-Destroyer-00.jpg
^ I’m glad you put an ‘i’ in that class name, for a RL obscure reason. On two of the ships I was assigned to during my military stint, they had a machinery/propulsion control system manufactured (and supposedly maintained by) a company named ‘TANO’, based in New Orleans. Both designs were so problematic & temperamental enough that we’d joke that TANO stood for ‘Totally Automated, Never Operating’… Cheers, -CM-
The Taino is an interesting design! It feels like it would function more like the equivalent of a fast PT boat than destroyer, IMHO
Hmm, I think she could be more like the French Le Fantasque, they were extremely fast for their size, Atolm's ship seems to be badass like those. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Fantasque-class_destroyer
Thanks! She is rather large for a PTboat. lol Thanks, and aye Here is a small battle group shot: Direct Link: https://i.postimg.cc/kXJ40vnH/Federation-Maasai-Taino-Khalkha-Classes-00.jpg
Really like that ring ship. So hard to make a ring look good on a starship. Awkward. Yours is awesome! And shows that it's not a homosapiens only design burrow
Oeh! more awesome ships, I agree with @valkyrie013 your ringship looks like a normal everyday usable ship. And do tell more about the Khalkha class.
I can see the Maasai with the multi ring gate from CONTACT spinning like mad...all the rings take one shape to bank....
LOL thanks brother. Thanks! What would you like to know? Hmmm...I never saw the flic, so I am not sure as to what you are referring to. A little help?
3 rings spinning like a gyroscope Contact had a wormhole device that had huge rings that spun around and a pod was dropped in.
