Woe ... the Convention Trekkies are gonna love this! I sometimes look up convention pictures and chuckle at the homemade costumes, but I have to say ... I've never seen anyone in anything resembling the bomber jacket.
I want this so bad; it's maybe the only piece of Starfleet clothing that doesn't look terrible on middle-aged fat guys like me.
And that’s one reason I wanted it too. That and I always thought I could pull it off with a pair of jeans! John
I ordered the jacket from Anovos back in January 2019, and still no word on when it will be sent to me. Would be nice to hear something back from Anovos on this.
I've been waiting on the Beyond jacket since 2016. So I feel you on this. Would certainly be nice to get an update or two.
Well, it has been almost 2 years now since I bought the jacket. They sent me the "Captain'" pins about 2 months ago, but no word yet on the jacket. I am disappointed with them, to say the least. I will certainly never buy a "pre-order" item from them again.
I was invited to pre-order one a while back, but I ultimately decided not to. Based on your experience, it looks like I made the right decision. I hope it eventually works out.
Same with the damn Beyond jackets. It's now been 5 years. 5 years since I paid upfront. 5 years since the damn movie came out.
What??? Wow... I ordered, & I as well paid upfront, an item January of last year and I was told by the manager named Reggie S. the delay was due to the pandemic. I wish I found this thread earlier.
They are using the pandemic as an excuse. The jackets were suppose to be mailed out way before the pandemic hit.
