Armstrong's good, there aren't many Kelvin timeline designs I'd have use for, but if this means we get Beyond's 1701-A, shut up and take my gold-pressed latinum.

I'd personally love to see literally ALL the background ships from ST09 (including the Excelsior repaint), plus the few we saw at the end of Beyond in the time-lapse drydock scene. It's about freakin' time! :techman:

    USS Equinox, yaaaaaaaayyyayayaaaahhahahahh!

Presumably, they upscaled the regular Equinox model, therefore replicating any errors.
I'm happy just to get it but imagine for a moment they applied the fidelity of detail from the STO collection to this beauty!

Yeah, they do that a lot... For their largest and most expensive type of models I really expect some more effort.

By the way, is it just me or does the XL Equinox seem more beige than the regular one? It looks similar to the color of the Rhode Island model.

On the sub, got the notice, but no shipment.

They're apparently "changing warehouses" (again) and everything is screwed up logistically (again). It almost feels like Eaglemoss is a front for Axanar productions sometimes - they seem to be managed in a similar way.

Although I did get a large batch of charges on my CC today - BSG, DeLorean, Trek XL, and successful original line (Axanar freighter) and Disco (of the Zimmerman FINALLY!) shipments last week, so maybe things are starting to shake loose.

And despite their size they're not clear plastic. And the light blue windows seem to be printed very sloppily. The longer I look at it, the worse it gets.

Edit: Oh, and the name seems to be spelled EQUINDX...

The original smaller model Eaglemoss did has the same issue in the Equinox spelling.

The model I own doesn't have the spelling error, so it seems that they actually corrected it at some point. Which makes it all the more embarassing that it's now wrong again...

True. I’m an original subscriber so would have probably got one of the first batches.

Got my Galileo shuttle today. It’s a bit bigger than I expected but very cool.

Yeah, I recall a couple of our regular thread posters mentioning they'd done this for the original and Discovery subscriptions.

I got an email a while back from Eaglemoss that they'd fulfill all of my missing Discovery ships at a discount in one fell swoop, at the time it would have been almost $500, so I opted "no" - plus, I liked getting them monthly as i was more likely to spent significant time with each ship.

I haven't received an email like that from them, but that is an interesting turn of events. Back I think in January of February, I called them to see where things were in my subscription and all of my missing holes were still considered out of stock. The only thing I was able to get from them at the time was the NuBSG crest plaque (which they needed to resend, as it got lost in transit).

Maybe they are finally starting to raid the online store's inventory to help out the subscribers, as many missing subscription items seem to be available there and the sub backlog has gotten to unwieldy and maybe resulted in sub cancellations. That has always been a bit of a source of frustration for me. Subs (IMO) should always come first as things become available. I do understand (but not agree with) the converse notion that the subs are guaranteed income and the store one-off purchases should take precedence, as they aren't at the subscription discount and could potentially lead to new subscriptions. So, :sigh:

As a collector (and a subscriber for the first 150 plus, the discovery line until 20, and the XL), I absolutely agree. But business wise its absolutely the right call to place stores first in hopes to hook new client. But the big caveat to that business practice is when you don't occasionally delay your subscribers, but you have unacceptable long delays, and it keeps happening. Then your business model is likely to implode (unless your collector base is just absolutely crazy and devoted to what you are putting out).

First model I bought in a couple of months. At this point the ships my local store has that I don't have are just ships-of-the-week from Voyager. I ended up getting one that was so unmemorable that I misremembered which episode it was from. I thought it was Assan's ship from "Drive", but it was actually the Vaadwaur fighter from "Dragon's Teeth" (I chose it over the "Alice" shuttle).

It's actually kind of a strange design, since the prongs in front would greatly limit the pilot's field of view. Other than that, it kind of looks more like a Star Wars fighter. Really all I got to say about it.

I'm still holding out hope of finding the Karemma ship somewhere.

I'm also hoping out hope of the Canadian site coming back soon.
