Hello Viper would it be possible to see Orthographic views of the Uss Atlantis ?

Nothing too exciting but I drafted some initial ground markings. Now I need to start figuring out the rest of the structure. The workbees need some proper bays as well. Any thoughts on the number of workbees? I felt like 12 was a good number in case of major repairs or cargo operations in stations.

 

I bought a new PC this week, so I can finally work on my own animations now. Some things will have to wait, but for simpler stuff it works. So I did this one, but I'm going to expand on it. For now, enjoy

That’s true for today. The ship looked toylike in shots...the remastered version that is. You have to frame things up right

Indeed. And some of the remastered TOS effects were flat out gorgeous. Exhibit A: The Max Gabl digital matte paintings.

 

Last few days the group on Discord started to work on upgrading the clouds workflow, so I managed to make mine a lot better. No animation for now as I'm going to do some changes, but here's a still image:

 

Didn't you still have a ship to finish?

 

Will you be crafting more TOS models and creative based images from that era? This is really amazing.

 

No plans right now. I prefer the TMP era generally as it has a wider design scope. Maybe someday

 

I've had this project shelved for years now, but an opportunity came up, so I need to finish it. Here's where it stands.

After about a week trying to figure out a way to build these panels in a way that wouldn't make me pull my non existing hair out, I finally made some good progress.

 

That is some level of detail..... Damn
