I already played Ori and the Will of the Wisps (and finished it) twice on hard difficulty... the speed runs are particularly annoying... but otherwise, doable.
I'd recommend building up Ori before starting the big boss fights (aka Spider and Frog)... otherwise, its excessively hard to beat them.

Just finished another play through of ME3. Synthesis ending all the way.

Will finish my Femshep ME1 play through, and then do 2 and three.

Been playing Pokemon Shield lately. Just item hunting and hunting for a shiny Beldum. Also had to restart Mario Maker 1, due to my Wii U's back up external drive dying.

I've installed FS9 and the Concorde sim SSTSIM and just set up a new company and pilot in FS Passengers and bought my first plane which is the Concorde G-BOAD in BA livery. I've installed the Delco INS so all three are operational and I've used them before to fly routes but I prefer the GPS so installed the default FS9 Garmin model as well. I know Concorde never had a GPS but it takes a lot of work out of aligning and programming the INS.

I've updated the FSPax more_option.cfg file for use with Concorde and replaced the fuel.dat file and am now ready for some practice before my first PSPax flight in a long time. My landings will need some practice and I like to depart from runway 26R at KONT, set the autopilot to aquire 250 kias and 4,000ft altitude and then steer left for a few minutes with 108.5 set as the VOR frequency. After a few minutes it picks up the ILS localiser for KLAX so after steering right I have a choice of straight in on four runways and two of them are ILS CAT III. 24R on heading 249 degrees and ILS 108.5 and 25L on heading 249 degrees and ILS 109.9.

It's about 30nm miles away so setting off from KONT towards KLAX is a great way for me to practice landings and using autoland to establish approach on the localiser and glideslope. Something very satisfying in taking off and landing Concorde and despite the age of it the SSTSIM model is outstanding and a huge improvement on the Altitude Software model. The best part is the fuel panels and how the readings are so accurate. Even down to the dials of the fuel gauges rocking to mimic fuel moving about in the tanks. I've never used the fuel engineer to do the fuel transfer for me because that is the best part. Amazing feat by the dev team and a shame the SSTSIM forums are no longer available.

After about eight hours of Immortals Fenyx Rising, the controls have finally clicked and I'm on to whooping some ass. The storyline is still keeping me entertained as are the characters. The puzzles are pretty good, but the game is making me want to really replay Breath of the Wild again

I also picked up Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury for the Switch. I'd forgotten just how fun and adorable of a game that was. Catchy tunes, but I'm dreading the Beep Block Skyway level as the music is catchy as hell and will be stuck in my head for weeks

I played Maquette for a couple of hours last night. I can see why people would enjoy it, but for some reason I'm just not feeling it. And I absolutely loved The Witness.

I also bought AC: Valhalla yesterday so I'm gonna start playing that soon.

Did anyone else START with RDR2 before playing RDR1? That's what I've done and it was great to play the full story (so far) out.

Anyway, I've just started Undead Nightmare and it's bonkers, bloody loving it.

No, but seeing as RDR1 isn't available on PS4 (and shame it isn't) it's made somewhat hard to be able to follow it up with it. Both games have such great stories. I really wish Rockstar would remaster it. They've already got part of it already done by having most of the land from Blackwater down done, then all they'd have to add would be Mexico and re-use some of the character models and age them a bit.

I could see them doing a remastered RDR/RDR II combo game for PS5/Series X/S. In fact, that would be cool if it'd give you the option to play it in order of release, or chronological order.

Yeah, it would. I suspect the reason why it hasn't been done yet is because RDR1 is available via backwards compatibility for XBox. That and the fact that apparently RDR was based on a branch of their engine that sat outside their usual update cycle and used unorthodox programming via ramshackled code to do things that make it harder to port. It was also an engine that had gone through so much revision that it diverged from the usual Rockstar engine, and therefore couldn't just be receive the simple update or be merged. RDR's engine had essentially become its own thing that made it harder to port, and they were surprised by the time they had it shipped that it even ran given the code was such a mess. This is also the main reason why a PC version hasn't seen the light. But wouldn't that mean it's even more suitable for a remake or remaster using the newer engine and bring it in line with the others?

There's much potential, given that RDR2 leads directly into RDR, and it's a shame that a large amount of people who've never played the original game are not going to be able to experience it. It's also the only game series aside from Max Payne that they have that have direct sequels, vs the GTA series which have new protagonists with each new game.

Seeing as how GTA V has been released on PS3/360, PS4/XBOne and soon to be PS5/Series X/S, I have no doubt they'll rerelease RDR and RDR II :)

Picked up Cyberpunk 2077 and Watch Dogs: Legion yesterday at GameStop. Got some Cyberpunk in this morning and it seems to run pretty solidly on the Series X.

Well, you would think, but GTA V, and especially GTA Online, have been their cash cows, so it's easy for them to port them. RDR 1 on the other hand isn't. As mentioned before, it would have to receive a complete overhaul. This is why the best it's got is enhanced backwards compatibility on XBox.

Without getting too much into spoilers, they already have most of the characters upgraded for Xbox One/PS4 that were in the original Red Dead Redemption. Literally most of the map (besides Mexico) is included in RDR II. So, it'd literally be super easy to convert all these things to PS5/Series X/S ports. Barely an inconvenience :)

DId they actually upgrade the character models though or is it just the result of higher resolution?

Thought I'd reinstall Mass Effect Andromeda and give it another chance...
Almost instant regrets; I forgot how buggy this thing is! Glitchy scanner graphics, audio randomly dropping out, weird framerate drops on the Tempest, and the online component is just flat out broken (won't even let me log in!) That last one isn't a huge deal if it were just multiplayer since I had no intention of getting back into that, but the Apex integration means without it, they'll be a quest that's given early on (literally; open that terminal and check out the online stuff!) that'll be impossible to complete, which in a singleplayer RPG is somewhat bothersome. Plus of course the damn thing has to spend a few minutes fruitlessly trying to connect on start-up before I'm able to even do anything.

I'm suddenly reminded why I only completed one playthrough. There's a good game buried under all of this, but the minor annoyances and frustrations really start to pile up fast.

Just installed a chess program on my iPad. I haven't played in years and years- mostly because I don't know anyone who plays any more. Starting over at the beginner level until I remember some moves.

Destroy All Humans! remake. They definitely upped the difficulty over the original.
