A person I know finally got his Newf groomed after a couple of covid related cancellations which meant she really needed it (if nothing else the Newfoundlands like to plant their butt in the snow which leads to a great of matting). There was no grin though. She sulked for two days. Our dogs liked the grooming though especially the rottie (though he was just a bath and blow dry). Mum heard him getting all excited one day and went out to see what was the issue. The groomer's trailer was across the road doing to the dog there and our dog thought it was his day.
