I can see the logic in choosing Henoch. The clues almost work seamlessly, but not quite. Wrong for today, but you should return to tomorrow with a better answer.

Clue #5 If you answered "ventriloquist", were you impressed with the distance I could throw my voice, not to mention the eerie reverb effect? Sorry my message didn't offer a more positive spin on your situation.

Congrats Phaser Two. It is indeed Korob. You are up to bat.

I think the clues will make sense. On clue 4 the reference to "dummy" is about Silvia calling him a "puppet".

Oh, I see. I figured you were comparing Korob with the hapless Jackson. Ultimately, pawns at the mercy of Sylvia. Good clues!

    Norman 1

As a machine he is precise in many ways, and he is labeled with an "odd number".

You are a mass of conflicting impulses.
And I am not programmed to respond that you are correct.

    2. I sound (er, look?) a little like someone the leader's old friend spoke of . . . .

The Exeter's surgeon from The Omega Glory?

    1) Quite a bit of precision in that he managed to make the log warning others of the disease, seconds before he dies.

    2)?

    3) Like so many visual logs, one wonders where the camera was pointing from. In this particular case, I don't think we ever see a log from this unusual position on the bridge again.

Great guess. But . . . you have one chance. Get a new guess fast. And tell me why that camera is sitting YAAAAAAAHH

    4. Although my presence seems to be fortuitous, it's not clear what I really accomplish.

    Faux Abraham Lincoln?
    1. I have an odd sense of precision.

LINCOLN [on viewscreen]: Do you still measure time in minutes?
KIRK: We can convert to it, sir.
LINCOLN [on viewscreen]: Then you should be directly over my position in. There. Exactly twelve and one half minutes.
    2. I sound (er, look?) a little like someone the leader's old friend spoke of . . . .
LINCOLN: Because you have qualities very much like those of another man I admire greatly. General Grant.
    3. I make an important announcement while some intriguing camerawork is underway.
(On the screen is the image of a man sitting in a large leather chair, and wearing a stove-pipe hat)
LINCOLN [on viewscreen]: ...I am Abraham Lincoln.
    4. Although my presence seems to be fortuitous, it's not clear what I really accomplish.
Hangs with Kirk then dies. Meh.

Kevin Riley? I sense a mixture of The Naked Time and A Conscience Of The King in the clues.
    2. Karidian hears his voice backstage and it reminds him of "a voice out of the past haunting me, torturing me".
    4. His presence in the Rec. Room does nothing to stop his friend Joe Tormolen from killing himself.
    5. ? does he take a jab at Kirk in one of the two episodes?
    6. Let's hope not those last three days. ;)
