...regardless of the merits of their argument, that literally has nothing to do with Disenchantment.

I suggest starting a separate thread.

    Marsden is very sad.
I watched this whole part. I liked it overall.

I wonder if they are calling it "parts" because the episodes were labeled 11 to 20?

That was a quick payoff to the first part plot but then it kind of went away until the end of the final episode.

I wonder if that was the one true god or his brother the other god?

Boy that was a convoluted journey just to get the gang back together.

Luci seemed better as a demon, it looks like he really is just a talking cat now.

I like the queen is a pirate now.

I really like Ursula, I hope she will return.

I think Elfo's mom is an ogre, maybe the one that let them escape.

The steampunk thing was interesting but I didn't like it. I wanted to and I think it was done well, but I just didn't like it here.

Bumping for todays "Part 3" release.

I love this show. It does to fantasy what Futurama did to science fiction.
Not every joke is gold, but there enough that if you didn't like one, another is on the way quickly.

They have shown that this happens in the Futurama universe at some time.
I'm just not sure where in the timeline they land or if it's in our current or a future universe.

    "I'm drowning!"
    "I'm Elfo!"

Never realised Part 3 was coming so soon, found it whilst flicking through Netflix on Saturday morning so enjoyed it all before lunch. It manages to be funny and also very touching at the same time, such as what happens to Zog and both Bean and Elfo owning up to their loneliness hit very hard (it's a horrible place to be).

I found the two seasons mediocre and struggled to get through them. Does this season mark an improvement to the show or should I skip it?

I've liked it from the start, granted it's no Futurama but I enjoy it.

Me too. I finished the season a couple of days ago with a big grin on my face at the end.

It's not as funny as peak Simpsons or Futurama, but there are so many other aspects to it that I love.

    Finished Part 3 yesterday.
To say a lot went on in the final episode would be an understatement.
I won't spoil anything but Part 4 will have a lot of explaining to do right off the bat.

I love Sharon Horgan as Evil Queen Dagmar. She is really enjoying her role.

Tress McNeil is having a good time playing her and the Arch Druidess.
I swear her and Maurice LaMarche are doing 90% of the voices on this show.

It's a weird show with occasional very good episodes. Much like late Futurama, after it lost its spark a bit. I found this part an improvement on the last though; Richard Ayoade was very funny.

I geeked out slightly with the mini IT Crowd reunion with Matt Berry, Noel Fielding, and Richard Ayoade appearing at various points during the season.

I thought it was a bit funnier than before as well.

We finally have a premiere date for "part four" (February 9) as well as a synopsis and stills (see the article):

The mystery of Dreamland’s origins—and the stakes for its future—become ever clearer as our trio—and King Zøg—find themselves on personal journeys that will ultimately tie in to the kingdom’s fate. Separated at the end of Part III, our heroes race to reunite in this sweeping series of ten episodes. They’ll find themselves everywhere from the depths of Hell to the clouds of Heaven and everywhere in between, including Ogreland, Steamland, underwater, monasteries, insane asylums, the Enchanted Forest, the Dreamscape and more. All the while, puzzle pieces both canonical and personal will reveal themselves to eager fans.

I ended up rewatching all three seasons...and man, I'm glad I did. There were lots of things I had forgotten about which the show has slowly been building up on and hinting at that and seems as though this season looks like it might actually pay off on now. Stuff like the Elves' hidden claim to Dreamland (and how they put the curse on Zog's ancestors), Elfo's mother being an ogre, Miri isn't just a mop girl and waitress but also a secret sorceress, Alva's desire to get Dreamland's magic, whatever Dagmar's great scheme is all about (this time!), the Trøgs' secret destiny with all of this...and so much more!

I don't know. I mean I don't actively dislike the show, but it seems the only times I remember it even exists is when a new season comes out. That's not usually a good sign.

It has improved over the years, but it's still not a patch on 'Futurama' for me. Most of the characters are unlikeable, the humour isn't any where near as smart, and some of the plot line just seemed to drag on WAY too long.
The King going crazy thing got old real fast for me, both because making a joke out of trauma induced mental illness is not a good look, and they way they chose to portray it was to have DiMaggio make supremely irritating honking noises, over and over and over. Call me picky but "sad and annoying" is not what I'm looking for in my entertainment.

I'll still check it out, but I'd be lying if I said I've been looking forward to it.
