On the one-night-stand front, let's not forget Data and Tasha Yar. And Spock and Zarabeth. And for it's worth, Mirror Picard and Mirror Vash were an item in my Glass Empires novella.
I'm to lazy to list all of James T. Kirk's ex-dates. They can be found here: With Edith Keeler one of the most notorious. https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/James_T._Kirk
Trip& T'Pol I wish we'll get more Enterprise books to continue their relationship.Since the last book is a cliffhanger ending.
Sorry for the confusion, Christopher, I was referring to the A/U Riker and Troi serving on the Enterprise-D during the events of "Headlong Flight" set in late 2367. I'm aware the prime universe Riker & Troi married/had their wedding reception in Nemesis.
Thanks for the input, Greg; I can't believe I forgot about Data and Tasha, or Q and Q (well, the latter I just forgot to list!).
Spoiler: To Lose the Earth As of "To Lose the Earth", Capt. Chakotay and V-Adm. Janeway got married, while Lts. Harry Kim and Nancy Conlon have officially broken up.
Hey, you forgot TAS: Robert and Sarah April, married (had been married practically forever by The Counterclock Incident)
Awesome! They are some of my favorite characters and I feel like we don’t see a lot of long married couples in Trek, so they stand out for me!
I also should throw Discovery's Paul Staments and Hugh Culber onto my married characters' list (and probably widowed as well just for the sake of completion!) and Cleveland Booker and Michael Burnham onto my dating one.
Definitely, love all four of those characters? I’m not sure if Paul and Hugh are married— they refer to one another as “partners”. I adore their relationship.
Not that being in Starfleet is a requirement for this/these list(s); it's open to all characters in the Star Trek franchise (TV, film, books, and more!).
I just remembered, Jim Kirk’s parents, George and Winona Kirk! Could be awesome to add them in too if you haven’t already!
Sulu and Demoras mom, Kelvin Sulu and his husband and their daughter, McCoy and the Fabrini leader, Checkov and his space hippie ex gf, Admiral Jameson and his wife (with the hair of gold), Will Decker and Ilya, Martok and his wife, Morgan Primus and Robins dad, Nurse Chapel and Roger, Harry Mudd and Stella, Apollo and McHenrys grandma, Soletta and her Romulan first officer, Calhouns son and Ci Swans sister, the captain and Allison Pills character in Picard, Data and the woman he dated in In Theory...
Hi, everyone, while rereading old posts, I came across this thread and realized that Spoiler: Spoilers for Coda Since the events of the Coda trilogy, every Relauch-era relationship (marriage, engagement, or dating) now falls under "both spouses/fiancees/partners deceased" with the collapse of the 1st Splinter Timeline. Fortunately, in the meantime, we have new couples with new statuses from the currently airing shows (Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, Prodigy, and Strange New Worlds), including but not limited to: Lt. Hikaru Sulu and Ben (married, Star Trek Beyond, who I forgot to add in previous posts) F-Adm. Charles Vance is married with a daughter (both unnamed as of the end of Discovery Season 4) Adm. Freeman and Capt. Carol Freeman (married in LD, parents of Beckett Mariner) Ens. Brad Boimler and Lt. Barbara Brinson (dated in early Season 1 of LD, but broke up in "Cupid's Errant Arrow") Seven of Nine and Cmdr. Raffi Musiker (dating in PIC) Then-Lt. Cmdr. Chakotay and Seven of Nine got together at the end of Voyager but have (apparently) long since broken up by Season 1 of Picard (which isn't necessarily surprising given the 21-year gap between the shows) Capt. Cristobal Rios and Dr. Teresa Ramirez (dating/implied to have later married in PIC; Rios died in a Moroccan bar fight shortly before Ramirez died of old age) Capt. Cristobal Rios and Dr. Agnes Jurati (dated and then broke up in between PIC Seasons 1 and 2) Spock and T'Pring (dating/betrothed in SNW, although we all know how it ends in TOS) Capt. Pike and Alora (relationship ten years prior to "Lift Us Where Suffering Cannot Reach", rekindled the relationship for the duration of the episode until he broke up with her) Also, as seen in these series, certain characters from the novel-verse didn't actually get together, including: Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher (status to be revealed in Picard Season 3) Chakotay and Kathryn Janeway (as revealed in Prodigy) Anyways, that's all I've got for now, but it's nice to come back and revisit some old threads every now and again.
Do we know that Janeway and Chakotay didn't get together in Prodigy? We know that Chakotay disappeared at some point and Janeway is searching for him, but we don't know what may have happened in their relationship before then.
