I think my favourite part about that movie is the teamup with all the Disney princesses. The rest of the movie wasn't quite as good as the first one for me.
I've been watching a whole bunch of movie lately. I watched both WW1984 and Soul on Christmas, then my mom and I watched My Octopus Teacher earlier this week, and this morning I watched The Old Guard.
Watched the Winnetou trilogy over the weekend (released in the US as Apache Gold, Last of the Renegades, and The Desperado Trail). Nostalgia gold, even though by now I notice certain anachronisms, like the Apaches worshipping Manitou. Just now finished The Man with the Iron Fists. Really entertaining hommage to classic martial arts epics of the Shaw Bros.
Ditto.... Thought the first one was better. This outing just seemed to wander. Probably could have used another editing pass to tighten up the saggy bits in the middle/end.
The extended cut was put together by the producers in the early 1980s to play on television, without involving the director Richard Donner (who thinks the extended cut is terrible). It's about 40 minutes longer than the theatrical version. This way they could charge television broadcasters more fees based on running length. Kor
I can't get over the fact that Richard Donner directed episodes of Gilligan's Island. I was in absolute shock when I was watching it a year or two ago, and saw his name pop up as director several times.
Got to build up experience in the business somehow. He also directed some good episodes of The Twilight Zone. Kor
City Lights. All the socialist people on the site should watch it. Great movie that will incidentally flatter your predispositions.
I watched My Cousin Rachel, the one from just a few years back with Rachel Weisz as Rachel. I love these moody and atmospheric period pieces. Kor
