@Mrs. Silvercrest and I were married on December 31, 1995 and are therefore celebrating our silver anniversary today. Technically our time of marriage was about 12 hours ago (around 10:30 AM Pacific Time), but toasting in the morning isn't very interesting. Here's to us. Anyone want to raise a glass? Oh, and the Silvercrest + silver anniversary thing is a coincidence, I swear.
Well done. It'll be 29 years for us in May. I like to say that I'm married to a very, very lucky woman.
Congratulations to you as well! I need to remember how lucky I am that she puts up with some of my foolishness.
Happy Anniversary to @Silvercrest and @Mrs. Silvercrest. It will be 28 years for me and my wife come October, if the planet is still here.
Thank you for all the toasts and congrats! It was hard to think of something to do for our 25th since with covid a party was out. So we went on a short trip, in our own state. We got new rings! And I made masks with an iron on 2 and 5 on them one white for me (the bride) and the other black for (the groom). We can wear them all year if we want (as long as we have to wear masks that is! ) Also Mr. Silvercrest made cool photo Christmas cards this year. One side of picture was us in 1995 at our wedding. The other was us today with Us wearing the 25th masks and having out some of our wedding things like my flowers which I still have they are silk. If he wants he can share more about that...
Heh ... like she says, on the left side of the image was the wedding pic from 1995. On the right, along with the bouquet and wedding items, we're masked up with our "25" masks. I'm also holding up the framed wedding pic from 1995 ... and our younger selves have little tiny masks with "01".
