I was surprised to see Keiko O'Brien there. What is she doing in medieval mythical China?

The movie isn't bad except that not one of the (on-screen) good guys dies... It is hard to believe in a battle where bodies were piling up really fast... Well, it''s Walt Disney...

One of my favorite Disney films with a great cast.

And people living to the end of the film? I am shocked, shocked, I tell you to see the good guys live to the end of a movie. I was just about to throw out my copy of Princess Bride because of it!

Yes, it's amazing how much "Keiko" and Mulan look alike, it's as if they were mother and daughter for real!!

I was more happy to hear Soon Tek Oh. My favorite MASH character actor.
Well, he was played by Frank Welker and was a horse so who could be that mad at the character or that actor?

They made a conscious decision in Mulan not to have any musical numbers after the village massacre scene. I understand the reasoning, but I think it hurt the movie overall. Created a tonal imbalance.

I actually just watched this for the first time this morning. I wasn't anything spectacular, but I enjoyed it.

I feel like some people are talking about the live action version and some are talking about the animated but it's as though it were all one version. Or maybe it's just me. :)

To be honest i never noticed that but then again the events and action ramp up after this so there is little to no time to slow down again for a song so it doesn't bother me at all.

The movie was a big meh given how it was touted by marketing to be THE movie of 2020. I much prefere the animated version.

Mediocre movie story/script wise with big budget Disney production.

You're brave to admit this in public.

Did the live action have songs?
