They lose one episode each year, at this rate season 7 should contain 9 episodes!

And if your eyesight is as good as Book Booker Book's, you can even see orbiting ships the size of a 2 or 3 story tall building while standing on a planet.

Yes, Cochrane needed a telescope to see Enterprise, and it's way bigger than 3 stories.

Dialogue clearly established that Osyyra "dove into the atmosphere" to deliver her disciplinary measures. So the shots with Booker seeing the ship were the correct ones; the shots of Detmer fighting the ship at medium orbital altitude were incorrect...

    Just watched it.
Had low expectations but liked it a lot.

No new Starfleet ship names but we get a good view on the bow of the angular, forked ship. Plus we see the ring ship well.

good solid 8 for this one. much better than last week's. I got the feeling Admiral Vance sent his rapid-responder ship in harm's way knowing full well that it might come to combat, leaving him diplomatically not to blame. But in any case, he has a war on his hands, now.

It looks like Cronenberg did something Cronenbergy to Georgiou. Maybe she can't stay in this century due to whatever is pulling the realities further apart?

I would say I am serious about what starfleet ship sent that warning at the center of the nebula.. but come on.. it's Discovery. I mean everyone knows that, right? I didn't read all the back replies.

Dutch, but the same principle applies. "Zij" or informally "ze" for "she/they". The possessive form differs though, with "haar" and "hun" respectively.

Something I forgot to add to my likes list, but feel I should add at this point, is the design and use of Book's ship. It's grown on me a lot with its "and now for something completely different" approach, and the fact that they've started using it as Discovery's primary support craft has been appreciated. It's actually made proper use of Discovery's somewhat strange open / oversized hangar bay design.

The problem is switching both time and universe, as explained here:

What do they have to do with the Emperor?

This episode didn't do much for me. I'm a bit over the generic-badguy-in-a-rural-backwater vibe they've been peddling this year.

I'm also, for the first time, sick of Georgiou. I loved Prime and Mirror Pip until now - but her schtick is getting old. i WaS dReAmIng AbOuT YoUr HeAd oN a sTiCk or whatever. Just getting a bit old. She's turning into the Neelix of Disco - give her something to do or let her go.

They used space Nazis. The Cardassians in DS9 were a bit Hitlery as well.

I'll give the Orion ship a conservative 1.5 miles long. The ship would have to be at 50,000 Feet for you to see it THAT well. and it wasn't attacked in atmosphere. You could see the battle, a light show, but seeing a clear outline would be impossible.
