    They are 12" or 1/6 scale. I love my small figures as I have many dollhouse accessories for them, but I also love the big figures as they look more realistic with the clothes and can do better poses as they have more joints.

    I'm sure I have posted Kirk, Spock, McCoy and Scotty in here before?

    That Wolverine / Logan is not even official, but he is amazing. There never was an official one from that last movie. He looks amazing under those clothes! The body feels very heavy - not cheap plastic like the QMX or Big Chief Studios figures. There are muscles and everything! Comes with several outfits as well. I truly love him:

    I also have this one. He's not official either:

    And finally Laura:

    Obama is also great. The Big Chief Studios Doctor Who figures use Velcro and fake buttons, but he comes with real button holes in shirt and jacket and tiny buttons (which are a nightmare to pus through) and real shoelaces, and he did cost much less than the others. I didn't set out to buy an Obama but found him when looking for 1/6 clothes and someone had posed him with a Samurai sword and a lightsaber and I could not resist:

    He also went on a trip with the Doctor to meet Captain Kirk (Obama is a Star Trek fan):

    “Unofficial?” Are they altered other models?

    * sighs * :p :lol:

    I need some advice. I generally am not the type to do much if any modification for my figures. I just got a long-desired Quintesson Judge, and I've really looked forward to it. But I've had a great deal of difficulty with the known problem of attaching the wrath face. There's a nice video I've found that addresses several possible solutions to the problem:

    I have actually been able to disassemble the face using the screw method but haven't had any luck with that option, in no small part because that means having to deal with the poky pegs that connect the halves together. Some people have reported luck with shaving off the lip tab slightly, but I don't have experience doing this sort of thing. I presume they used an exacto knife or something similar, but I could really use more advice on that option. I'd ideally prefer to not have to do it, but at this point I'll welcome any advice. :D

    Part of the concern is that the gray panels the heads attach to aren't overly thick, and I saw on Amazon that apparently a few people have unwittingly torn them off trying to attach the heads correctly. I genuinely don't understand why the heads don't simply come attached, as was the case with another version of this figure based on the Quintesson court in the animated movie. As it stands with many of the retail copies, it's simply way too hard for adult collectors (much less children) to do properly.

    Anyway, I welcome advice on how to shave the tab a bit if necessary.

    ETA;

    I finally managed to solve the problem by switching the position of the two heads. :rommie: Some reviews have suggested that the two mountable heads (Wrath and Doubt) will only fit on one configuration (and this is the one given in the instructions), but I've seen some reviews where the heads were switched without issue. That seems to have worked for me, so I can live with that. :biggrin:

    Done without an official license. So they are not officially called Wolverine, but Steel Wolf... but everyone knows who it's supposed to be. There is a Hot Toys Wolverine which I also have, but they never made one from the Logan movie.

    Today I made an ironing board from some styrofoam, piece of old bedclothes, and piece of plastic chocolate tray. The black thing holding the tray in place is what is used to keep action figures secured in the box. I got this in fact from the box Chakotay came in ;)
    The round wood sticks are from candied apples, I always keep them for crafting. For storage purposes it also can fold up, I did not glue the top, it is only laid on.

    I had the idea on Thursday, went to the craft shop on Friday and made the board on Saturday. All so I can present this bad pun to you.

    Kirk went shopping on Black Friday - it didn't go well. I probably shoot re-shoot these, now that I have a proper biobed!

    Went by Target after going to see a movie this afternoon, found that they had one Cyborg Spider-Man in stock. I was on the fence about this one, since I have all the others in the Marvel Legends Retro Vintage Spider-Man series, so far, but the figure just looked so damned goofy in online photos. In person, it looks a bit better, so I went ahead and grabbed it.

    Haven't opened it yet, though, still waiting on the other Negative Zone Spider-Man that I ordered from a Facebook group member.

    Christmas has come early for my Ed - I bought him a model of the Wright Brother's plane. It's by Carlton Heirloom.

    I love the family feeling of the Star Trek Voyager crew. I'm sure they would have celebrated the 1st of advent together as well. Even if there is no religion anymore in the Star Trek future, I hope we hold up some traditions. And with such a diverse crew, they would have a lot of different holidays to celebrate!

    Wherever you are in the world my friends, please light a candle and make today into a special day. For yourself.

    Love this! All of your builds are so cool- very McGuyver-y! If I were stranded on an asteroid with any one BBS poster I’d hope to be stranded with you!

    Haha! I'm not sure I would be very helpful stranded on an asteroid! "Yeah, I know we're starving, but look at the cute dollhouse food I made!"

    Today: A shippy Christmas, made for the 25 days of Voyager on Tumblr:

    “A little help here, Chakotay?” “Kathryn, you are supposed to decorate the tree, not yourself!”

    @Astra, I get the distinct impression you're a bit of a Janeway/Chakotay shipper.

    Looks like that, doesn't it? ;)

    Usually I am not an avid shipper, not in the way others are, in analyzing every little thing. I am too dense and you have to point it out to me. If I ship, I usually go with the official canon ship, like Jack and Ianto, or Ed and Kelly. I'm not trying to see sparks where no sparks are meant to be.

    However, Janeway and Chakotay are as canon as they could be, even if not officially so, no? They are just so much fun to work with! And I have lots of shipper friends on Twitter who I am making very happy with those pictures. I feel bad for my other figures, I definitely should use them more!

    I can't even knit in big let alone in mini LOL Would love to see your results!

    Those were Christmas tree decorations that I bought last year. But there was only one pattern of the sweaters so I bought two more socks and sewed the pattern on those on the sweaters to get more variety.

    New Vintage Collection scores tonight! A friend and I split a case assortment of the new Moff Gideon Wave we tracked down at a local Walmart and each got one of the Rogue One Vader, Gideon and Beskar Mandalorian. We split the one-per-case figures between us, him the Armorer and me the Captain Rex.
