Maybe Georgiou is like an advanced hologram, made of programmable matter, doesn't even know that she's a copy. The real Georgiou has been exfiltrated by S31.

I wonder if it has something to do with that line about the two universes diverging the further in time they go.

Btw pretty excited to see a good old fashion 'starship standoff in orbit' between Discovery and what i presume is Osyraa's ship. Hopefully we get to see Discovery in action with some 32nd century weapons upgrades.

God that's possible isn't it? That would let them do their spin off without time travel.

    Ugh.

The Osyraa character can be seen briefly. Not surprisingly she looks bad ass. I was hoping for one of those sexy Orion girls, but no luck.

Are Burnham and book on the Pahvo planet?

I feel the displays of contempt for everyone Mirror Georgiou comes across too unnecessary. She’s a fish out of water, alone, so why create more enemies with the constant negative dialog she throws around along with vacant threats to non threatening characters?

Mirror Lorca put on his game face whilst stuck in the st-fan-approved universe, this demonstrates Terrans can behave logically and rationally if it assists with their end objectives.

Why didnt she just steal Book’s ship and go about doing things her way? at least she wont have to put up with so many humans who she clearly regards as an obstacle. It’s another example of Kurtzman mind boggling hard-on for charcters to either be enraged or in perpetual anxiety.

Because so far, she hasn't encountered a problem she couldn't throw out the airlock or kick in the face, and when she's cornered and afraid she lashes out.

I've known people like that, when their usual problem-solving methods fail they fall back on the only other thing they know, empty bluster.

I see it with CBSAA running on Android, but not with CBSAA on an Amazon fire stick.

I realized how much science fiction I have stored in my head because I can remember that conversation, from that episode.

I really hope the writers don't choose to go with the "hologram" scenario for Georgiou and that seeing her do whatever that is is for this particular story. I'm still hopeful that her flashbacks and that long stare were part of the prime universe affecting her, maybe developing some empathy for everything she did as the Empress. She's still trying to hide behind that facade as not to appear weak, but she's becoming a different person.

Perhaps. We never actually saw them do it, did we?

For all we know, Prime Georgiou is in a Klingon prison and it was somebody (or something) else they ate.

I watch DSC on the AppleTV app and I don't see the previews either.

No, they don't. We have to go digging on YouTube. Whether it's CTV Sci-Fi's account or Nacion Trek's...

I was thinking it could be related to how long she's been in the wrong universe, but Lorca had been over longer, correct? The divergence could be accelerating the timetable for deleterious effects.

I don't know if I should be amused or disgusted by the fact that they use real world figures for imaginary bodies and how incongruent they are.

The orbital characteristics for Kwejian are an exact match for Venus. Venus is, by far, not a Class M world.

Okay, so I know some exoplanet researchers have been trying to nail down what the Goldilocks Zone is for each type of star, minimum and maximum orbital distance from which stellar type, that sort of thing.

What might its orbital characteristics tell us about Kwejian's host-star? K-class star, perhaps?

Source for my speculation from 2013 (and I expect the information available since then to have amended this somewhat):

They let Harry Kim sit in the captain's chair a few times.
