0.75 million for this last episode, a massive 25 percent drop. This show is in serious danger now.

This show is not really about the WD world at all. According to what I'm hearing from friends who watch this, the WD is merely a backdrop (franchise hook) for stories they were never going to (or could) explore on the parent series.Never a strong motive for launching a spin-off.

I have to say the criticism for the show is a little over the top. Sure, the characters are acting really stupid and saying really dumb things, but that doesn't mean the show is agreeing with them. They are acting like teenagers, and presumably will have a coming of age experience soon when some of them die...

True...but i think Stargirl has done a better job, in a shorter amount of time, in portraying "real" teenagers facing a deadly reality. There's too few, and none (in my opinion) that have been developed in a way that we would be really sad that they are gone. And really that 2nd or 3rd episode would need to have been the wake up call. EPisode 1 was the journey set up, and 2 could be that "confidence booster" that maybe makes them feel "invulnerable", as many young people feel they are. But with zero real world exposure...

Um... OK... help me out here. So like the producers wanted to do a CW-style show, is that the deal? ANd NOT a set up for the RIck Movies (in terms of dealing with the "rest of America")?

For a show, they really should have had "World of the Walking Dead", which would have been an anthology telling all kinds of stories, short and long. They could have slipped in some previous webisodes. The other feature would be to have filmmakers from all over the world do stories in their own style, showing us if there might be any differences how it would affect other countries.

(And i mean a production made by Bollywood people, but sans the musical/dance numbers; or the producers of Peninsula making something, but without THOSE type of zombies)

    What? Are you kidding?

    Zombie Bollywood style dance numbers?

I'd watch that in a heartbeat over what they're doing for this show.

Again, I think the show decided to build some of these characters up, give them a backstory, and then brutally kill them. I don't think they are doing it well, but I think that's what they are doing...

I'm changing my mind. I'm no longer sure anyone will die at all...

One of them will die and become Zombified, yet somehow retain their human personality, and become involved in a tragic, angst-ridden romance with one of the others.

I've been watching this show, but usually as I am doing something else--the most recent episode caught my attention a little though. I don't not like it, but it is just kind of there--nothing new, moderately interesting characters, but nothing that really hooks me. It is just very vanilla--which is good if you like vanilla without any toppings.

Just like Fear, this episode had a tiny uptick from 0.73 million viewers to 0.78 million. It was also the best reviewed episode on IMDB thus far...

This week's was one of the better episodes, mainly for the glimpse into Huck's background we got. But the show's storyline really is plodding along at a glacial pace. Kind of reminds me of criticisms I remember hearing about Walking Dead itself in the early years, that it's just folks having conversations in the woods or talking about their pasts in between brief fight scenes. Except with this show, that's literally what it is.

Looks like season 2, which will be the last of this spinoff, is on.

Episodes 6 and 7 have been really incredible, but it took too long to get there. These flashbacks with Huck should have been weeks ago.

These showrunners really hate the military huh? Terrible portrayal in Fear and now even worse in World Beyond.

And it was really good, too!

The original, as I recall, was gripping just about every episode. That first season, for sure, covered a lot of ground. If it was expected to be a "pilot miniseries" , they nailed it there. And Season 2 also did well.. even with the search for Carol's daughter.

The Huck story isn't TOO suprising...so she WAS a soldier...but one with a conscious, which now makes her a trusted fit for this team (i.e. she ain't going along with the CRM).

So basically, is it season 1 getting to NY, and Season 2, getting dad free? The hints they have showed for New York... mmm.. we need some more. mysterious, but not so much that i want it dragged out

Well, they had advertised that from the get go, and the pandemic kinda made that choice a bit easier.

This actually goes back to the very first season of The original The Walking Dead. There was similar aftermath from the hospital Rick came out of . So nothing brand new...actually quite consistent, and makes those scenes actually make more sense now.

So will we FINALLY see what actually happened with Silas? Did the people he supposed kill actually became Walkers first?

.63 million for the last episode, another franchise low. Is amc REALLY going to film another 10 episodes with this kind of viewership??
