Could someone help me track down an interview that Terry Farrell gave years ago on "Blood Oath"?

The main part I remember was Farrell commenting that the episode could have ended with her debating eating the Albino's heart, which Kang had planned to do until he died in the battle.

I thought it an interesting story suggestion by Farrell, but perhaps a bit gruesome for a main character to do.

I don't recall hearing about that suggestion. I love the episode so much, so it would be interesting to have a slightly more grisly end for the the Albino.

Not that it would have ever happened, but still.

That would have been fun to watch. Maybe they could have made the heart out of strawberry jello, had Terry Farrell gobble it up. Mmm mmm good!

I'm thinking the interview was probably with a magazine published here in the UK.

I never heard of that, but that is pretty interesting. Like the Khaleesi eating the horses heart in GoT.

Eating a real heart raw would probably violate OSHA health and safety guidelines.

Good thing the Albino's planet was outside both the United States and the Federation, so neither food safety laws apply.

    Next Episode:
Sisko: Major, I've been looking for Dax all morning, have you seen her?

Kira: She's in the infirmary, Captain. Bad case of lung worms.

Sisko: You mean she ate it?

Kira: Oh yes. Raw, apparently. You know, that raw food thing reminds me of that time the Intendant held me captive in the Mirror Universe. Horrible woman, but while I was there, she did happen to serve me this wonderful Kelpien sushi. Must be some kind of fish or something - I'd never heard of it before. I can't get the replicators to make it --
--Sir, why are you making that face at me?

The albino was healthy right up to the time he got a blade through him. Eating his heart before it had a chance to get cold would probably be fine.

Humans carry all kinds of viruses and bacteria and parasites that are harmless to us, but might be downright lethal to an alien who devoured our organs. I don't see why it would be different for Dax.

Actually, I always thought it was unrealistic that for the most part, nobody scanned new alien foods for biocompatibility before just tossing them in their mouths. If it was me, I'd whip out a tricorder for a few seconds before I became the first one who found out Klingon tea will kill humans dead.

Yes, that's part of the suspension of disbelief that our biologies end up with a lot more in common than we'd expect.

Dax should've insisted on sautéeing the heart, then simmering in a mild bloodwine sauce, backed up with mushrooms and onions and a few key spices. Then served with quadrotricale crackers and the right kind of cheese.

Just to make Worf grit his teeth.

Had the ep been made today, she probably would have shared the heart.

I thought force feeding Dax having a personal relationship of these iconic Klingons was boring and highly unlikely; it was too ironic for such team up. This episode spawned needless explanations to come about the Klingons and their physical appearances which for me was not necessary. I never bought it, the episode was one of the weakest story from an interesting season.

I bought it because it was CURZON who really had the relationship with the Klingons. And, knowing what we did about Curzon, it seemed right up his alley.
