Seems that every time the cleaning ladies come around, they always find plumbing problems. :sigh:

The heat and humidity and mosquitoes are really frustrating. I have things to do around the house but it's just too hot.

^same here. I was out sampling today and it's like walking through an old-fashioned laundry. Fortunately, mosquitos leave me alone. I think they know that I am Bavaria's topmost authority for flies and midges :D

Well, I think I have a cold. I'm pretty sure actually.
On the up side after I was all Whiney about the heat, it's been hot but not too bad.
I live where it's arid, so we have very low humidity.
And I'm hoping to get my asinine broken ankle, plastic, Velcro, giant boot off in about 7 days!!!!:techman:

When ordering groceries online for home delivery, I hate that Walmart will make substitutions for out of stock items and not only won't ask you if it's okay, you end up with something you don't want, and they won't take it back. At least when this happens with Save Mart they offer the options of either substitutions or just give you a refund for out of stock items. And they keep in touch with you through text messages while they're putting your order together. I like that. It's frustrating that Save Mart doesn't just carry everything I want. I'd rather deal strictly with them, but that's not always possible.

If you're experiencing symptoms of a respiratory illness, it may not be a bad idea to get tested for COVID-19, just in case.

But, it's worrisome, I wear a mask when out, how would I get CV19 or a cold?

You touch a surface that's contaminated, then touch your nose or mouth. Or you were directly exposed to droplets in the air. Plus, masks are not 100% effective--more like 75-85% effective--but unless you want to walk around in a space suit, it's the best we've got. It is also possible that you are having some type of allergic reaction. Pollen and mold are through the roof here. I'm on allergy meds but I still have the itchy eyes and post nasal drip.

a mask is not 100% virus tight. Also, you might have gotten into contact with the germs with your hands or clothing and then touched your face, e.g. when undressing. Or the virus got caught in your hair. Some respiratory bacteria hide in the shower and get breathed in with the steam, others produce spurs that get spread with dust. Nature is rather inventive when it comes to transportation.
You should get the source of the problem checked. There are many possibilities, Covid 19 being only one of them. But it'd make things for yor GP easier if he can exclude teh worst by a test and then concentrate on searching for one of the usual suspects.
    go to http://heavens-above.com
On the top right you can enter the coordinates of your location or click on "unspecified" it will then show you a map where you can either pick your location or enter the name of your town under the map. Then return to the start page and go to the section Astronomy and there click on Comets. The one you are searching is on top of the list. If you click on it you get 4 star charts for your location. Above them you can enter date and time when you'd like to watch the comet. The charts will then show you the position.
Under the charts is a table where the angle, height over the horizoin etc. are listed for the respective time and date. That'll show you in which direction to look for the comet :)

LOL, classical case of cross-posting @auntiehill

It's a little frustrating listening to the neighbors playing around in their pool when I don't have one.

I have problems with neck and shoulder pain due damaged discs in my neck. There are some pinched nerves in my neck that send pain to the top of my skull, down my neck, across my right shoulder and down my arm. Hasn't bothered me that much this year ( compared to last year) ...until today.

    Damn it. :scream:

My mortgage lender never sent me a paper bill this month. I'm trying to pay online but they made it insanely hard to figure out how to actually set up the accounts to do that. I'm trying to use the online bill pay from my bank, but you need the mailing address I would send the checks to which I can't find anywhere on my previous bills except the forms you mail in with them. I tried asking for help online but all I get is a generic response. I'm going to have to actually call a person today to figure this out. It's absurd how difficult they have made this.

Hopefully you are actually able to reach a real person on the phone and not some annoying automated system.

Man, I'm sorry this is happening to you. But catching it early is a good thing. Sclerotic lesions are usually benign, but either way, getting it treated fast is important. In a way, breaking your ankle may have actually been beneficial; it helped you detect the problem early and get treatment. But I know right now it's all kinds of suck.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

This Dr. Yesterday said it may not have been fully healed in2017, the last time I fractured it.
He didn't write 'Lesion' he said 'margin'
I hope there is a difference. And he is not a radiologist or an orthopedist so hopefully he is wrong. Maybe I have osteoporosis, all of my aunts had it.
I'm pretty freaked out. (Totally freaked out)
Kidney cancer is just in your kidney, bones are all over your body. Shit.
