For Clarice specifically, Spoiler the series takes a major creative liberty with a real world database that is used in the real world to profile, and that’s likely what’s being reworked. In the series, they use the database to link together multiple criminals that are coordinating the season-long arc.
You said "canceling and/or retooling." Yet only one show was canceled, due to rating, and that was long before the George Floyd murder. So to say that CBS is canceling anything because of the protest is incorrect.
