Hi all. First, let me say thank you for your patience. I had originally planned to have a new contest up Friday night. Unfortunately, I've been struggling trying to come up with a theme. The first one I picked, I realized we had done before. The second one... I didn't really like all that much. So after a bunch of hemming and hawing, I ended up just copping out a little, and going with this one. On the plus side, we should all have plenty of ideas for this theme after the last two months... So our topic is activities to do during lockdown/quarantine/sheltering-in-place. Basically, anything you can do to pass the time while the world is shut down. You may enter up to two avatars. Your entry must be no larger than 200 x 200 pixels, and 1 MB. No images from movies and television, please. And I know what some of you may be doing to pass the time, but please, please keep in mind that all entries have to be SFW! Contest will be open for about a week... I hope to post the poll next Sunday night. Here are my entries: Watching funny videos on YouTube Reading Have fun!
To clarify, I'm not suggesting using videos, just images from screen shots. There are a lot of people who demonstrate all kinds of hobbies, for instance.
If you follow the Creative thread, you know what I've been up to: #1 Writing That is, when I could actually get my act together. Most of the time I was doing this: #2
Sorry, @Captain pl1ngpl0ng , but I have to disallow this one. I wondered where it came from (because, Patrick Stewart), so I did some Googling, and it turns out it's from a TV show called American Dad. Sorry. (Pretty funny, though. )
OK this gif was like everywhere across the net.. OMG .. I don't know anything about it cept it is some kind of game play --- pass time during lockdown =--= playing video games
lockdown dancing -- #2 bonus extra avatar --- just for the fun of it. === and the lockdown party--- non-stop
Just to check, @Captain pl1ngpl0ng , you wish to replace your car-driving dog entry? Also, to everyone... last call! Poll should go up tomorrow evening, so you've probably got about 30 hours or so to get those last-minute entries in!
I'm doing all sorts of needlework (e.g. a quilt for my mom) and I photograph the flowers on my terrace (dandelions can look rather pretty, depending on the angle)
