I agree, it's definitely worth it in the long run, there are several good games now. I just prefer my PS4 because it has games like GTA and Red Dead II, not because I dislike the Switch or anything. I bought mine just for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu back then (I have the special Pikachu/Eevee edition), which was purely out of nostalgic motivation, but I don't regret doing so. That game, Pokémon Sword/Shield, Yoshi's Crafted World and now Animal Crossing New Horizons have really made it worth it in the long run, at least for me.

Stellaris. 4x game and probably the best.

Playing really fucked up game as a human civ with xenophobe/militaristic ethics with a starship trooper style "democracy:.

Just caught a alien race trading humans as slaves. So I invaded but instead of sending the xeno scum to my death camps like the other aliens I genetically modified the species to bhave crippling disabilities . I also made them rapid breeders.

Of course the goody goody races took exception to that and i have been piled on by a number of federations.
Well I just expelled my genetically modified monstrosities as refugees that are now flooding these federations hahaha I give it a century before their economy's are crippled.

    Kassandra is tons of fun

Though the AC games are the modern COD dare I say it..... They bare little in common with the first few games and don't even bother with the animus or other stuff much if it all. Such a shame why not just make them adventure games and leave out the animus stuff?

Yeah I've been out of the Animus once so far, literally all there was to do was walk around, interact with a couple of objects, then go back in

Which game? So far the only ones that I have encountered that let you escape are Black Flag, and the original game.

Been playing Assassin's Creed Origins the last few days, and had to exit the "home made" Animus during the prologue.

Syndicate is fun but it's one of those games that doesn't really have the modern day stuff because once you are in the animus you can't hop out again but I think by now ubisoft should just dump that whole idea and just make them historical adventure games.

Civilization 6. I just bought the New Frontier Pass DLC. The DLC is separated into 6 packs. The 1st pack has already been released in May and it features the Maya and Gran Colombia Civs. The 2nd pack will be out in July.

I'm back to playing Fallout: New Vegas with some mods such as A World of Pain *and I guess only AWOP, I think there's a hunting mod I looked over).

A good time waster, just finding out the new stuff and killin' things. I've had NV for years now - actually since it forced me to install Steam, maybe I can find out from there how long - and so I got bored with it eventually. June 2011 - I got the HH and DM dlc, so at least since then.

Edit: still crashes every 30 odd minutes. Eugh.

Dude.. that's evil as fuck! I love it!:lol:

I have it too but not played that much and was still learning - managed to become top dog economically in my corner and then thought my Navy was good and started some expansionist crap against Pirates or something like it and they handed me my ass - hard. It's an awesome game but very complex, might give it a go again sometime.

That game went south real fast. I thought I was the top dog in that galaxy and boy was I wrong. The fallen Empire nearby took exception to what I was doing, woke up and kicked my arse, badly.

Going to try a game as a interstellar (EVIL) Corporation this time.

To be fair, Syndicate has one fairly large side section that ties somewhat into the first civilization stuff, and I think its the last major reference to it (I don't think that Origins or Odyssey connected much with that stuff, but I could be wrong). Honestly, while I grew to like the story of the modern day stuff while playing AC 3, 4 and Rogue, I don't miss having to actually do stuff as Desmond in AC3. I'd be up for the first person modern day exploration/light puzzling of AC4 and Rogue making a return, though.

As for Syndicate itself, it was the first AC game that I finished and is still my favorite (although I enjoy AC3, 4 and Rogue a lot).

I finished up AC: 4 yesterday and was in a superhero mood, so I started replaying Injustice: Gods Among Us.

It was in Odyssey, but you're not given the option to exit. Layla just comes out the doctor complains about her spending too much time inside the Animus, Layla name drops the Frye twins, then goes back in :)

    On PS4, I'm playing Aragami.

On Steam, I've been building up a collection of games from the 90s and early 2000s. Stuff like Omikron: The Nomad Soul and Star Wars: KOTOR.

Since I'm almost done with Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, I decided to start a second playthrough of Horizon Zero Dawn. Last time when I played I originally didn't do the Frozen Wilds expansion, which came free with the version I got, and when I went back to try it months later, I got my ass kicked. Hopefully this time, if I play it with the core game, I'll do better.
