T'Pol Archer Phlox Trip Reed Sato Shran Soval Forrest Hernandez I really wanted to put Mayweather in there, as his character background is really cool, and there was so much potential there... they just didn't do much with him for four years. Same is true for Sato, but to a lesser extent. I also thought Linda Park did a great job with the limited screen time she did get. Soval had to be in there because I think the Vulcans of Enterprise were great
1. T’Pol 2. Trip 3. Archer 4. Porthos 5. Reed 6. Shran 7. Duras 8. Koss 9. Maxwell Forrest 10. Michael Rostov I would watch T’Pol read a computer manual and Phlox doesn’t make it to my list as he’s much too dull.
Wow, the last word I would use to describe Plox is dull. I always thought of him as eccentric, competent, funny, and frequently someone the crew could turn to for advice. Why do you say dull?
I’d agree that he is indeed competent but I always saw him as a caricature of a moderate human being. It’s the predictability that makes him dull to me. One could reasonably say he is diplomatic, agreeable and courteous but they are fairly neutral qualities. I didn’t find him eccentric. Quite the opposite in fact. I found him to be characterised like an office worker with a ‘you don’t have to be crazy to work here- but it helps’ mug who feels that they’re the weird one where in fact they are as normal as they come. I found the most striking quirks he possessed were a very slight pretentiousness and lack of loyalty. That’s my take anyway. It’s rare that I conform to common views when it comes to Star Trek though. I’m comfortable with it but hope that gives you an insight to why I find him dull as dull can be.
I'm not sure I can do a proper top ten, but T'Pol would absolutely be at the top of the list if I did. One character that I really liked that I don't think has been mentioned s Gralik Durr from "The Shipment." I think John Cothran, Jr. did a great job with the character , and I wish we had seen him again.

Enterprise is unique among Trek shows, for me at least, in that it doesn't have a regular character that I hate. 'Hate" may be too strong a word, but all of the other series have at least one regular character that I'd like to see leave the show.
I mostly agree but I wish they had more than 6 regulars. I mean why didn't they have a regular for the pilot position instead of that extra whose name I can't recall. Jason
The Chief Engineer after Trip transferred to the NX-02. For some reason Archer seems to keep hiring gorgeous engineers...
I've been rewatching a few episodes from season 1, and certain eps from later seasons recently, and these are my stand-out/favourite characters. So far, anyway... 1. Trip 2. T'Pol 3. Hoshi 4. Phlox 5. Porthos 6. Vaughn Armstrong's Kreetassan (from "Vox Sola" & "A Night in Sickbay") - mainly for the make-up design and the looks of absolute disgust he displays (particularly through all those prosthetics). Very memorable. 7. Soval 8. Mestral 9. T'Les 10. Kaitaama I was humming and hahing about including Sim and T'Mir, but they're kind of already covered with Trip and T'Pol. I also like Forrest, but didn't find anything particularly distinctive about him (except his patience with Archer), and Kelly & Rostov (from "Vox Sola"). - Oh, yes! Surly, sultry - but a bit dim - Kelby. If he'd kept his mouth shut (and shirt off a bit more often - I mean, Trip was in his next-to-nothings all the time!), he could have made the list
1. Dr. Phlox 2. Jonathan Archer 3. Thy'lek Shran 4. T'Pol 5. Charles "Trip" Tucker III 6. Hoshi Sato 7. Malcolm Reed 8. Travis Mayweather 9. Silik 10. Soval I was struggling after the first half-dozen though, tbh.
