Ok give this try, go and find the no cd.exe for this game, google it, these were handy back in the day for games that were having issues with running on newer OS, i remember DS9 Domin wars was similar once i moved to W7, it worked on XP but it would not run on W7, but a No Cd.exe someone made fixed that....so might be worth checking this out.

Installed it on a 2nd pc, no success here either. I guess i will let it go. Birth of the Federation is my fav. trek game anyway, so i focus on that. thanks for all your hints, though.

Yeah these old games can be a major issues at times when trying to run on new OS, but who knows, maybe GOG will one day sell it as they are amazing at getting these games to run on modern systems.

@Mr_Sloan - sorry to hear you've been having BC issues. Haggis and tatties' advice has been sound, and BC does indeed run very well on Windows 10. I have a 16gb i7 rig with Nvidia and Radeon GPUs and no issues. As H&t suggested, many of us who have original install discs find using no-cd.exes work better. You just have to make sure stbc is mounted as virtual drive.

I really wish GOG would add some more recent Star Trek games. All they have so far is Starfleet Academy, Starfleet Command Gold Edition, Judgment Rights, and 25th Anniversary, which all came out between 1992 and 2000.
