So there are Adventures of Flotter lunchboxes in the 24th century. That's both some hardcore canon homework as well as something that made me chuckle.

Young Academy 1st Year: Admiral Picard, were the Qowat Milat real?

Picard: I used to wonder about that myself. Thought it was a bunch of mumbo jumbo. A magical power holding together good and evil, the dark side and the light. Crazy thing is... it's true. Elnor. The Qowat Milat. All of it. It's all true.

No, they shouldn't have. The Queen was destroyed, but rebuilt herself. She's not confined to one body, she's a concept, not an individual. We literally see her being built in FC from scratch.

If the Borg have Sikarian gateway tech now, can't they just beam into any world they want within 40000 light years and start assimilating? No need to battling pesky defense fleets when you have that tech. A cool reference and all but the implications of them having that tech are enormous.

I think she has back ups. Her continuosly refreshed consciousness can be put into a new body. But I still wouldnt have minded saying she can use this tech to escape. I dont think there is one built into the Queens chamber without that in mind.

And he redeems himself with some noble sacrifice...and we're all just glad that he's gone.

Rather contrived though. It feels like the only reason they have those silly transparent screens is to do things like that.

Picard should have been the one to ask, "How's Geordi?" :D

I actually liked Narek in this episode...for the first time.

Heck, it was the first time I actually liked the show, too. Will wonders never cease?

Geordi should really be in this show. He had the bigger connection to Data and characters like Hugh.

And they had to cheat and use a mirror image of locotus for the gag to work. Meh, it was cheap.

Geordi should have been at the Daystrom Institute scenes, asking why Dr. Brahms never accepted his friend request.

Treadaway reminds me a little of Donald Sutherland in Eye of the Needle visually, now if he could bring just half that intensity. Sis/Rizzo is just impossible to take seriously. It's too much to hope for because one or both will be there in the finale to bebother our crew but they just slow everything down.

It was also a strange picture of him. It was like someone took a picture of the viewscreen with him on it.

Rubik's Red Cloud of Death Cube! Best left unsolved.

I hope Hugh gets out of trouble next week. Prominent XB's dropping like flies better not be a recurring trope.

I love how Hugh is wise to "the Romulan spy"!

No one bothers to check in with the EMH to see how Maddox died? Agnes' prepared explanation wouldn't convince a child.

I love how the Borg simply move silently now. No whirring and buzzing of servos.

Raffi's blackmail is priceless. Avoiding diplomatic incidents with the Romulans must be the new Prime Directive!
