I didn't realize they were actually considered biological, I had just thought of them as very advanced, but still purely mechanical.

Now this is the kind of trailer I like.

Heavy on story (if not completely on context) with spotlights on the characters whom one can assume will get 'top billing'.

March 15th can't get here fast enough.

Guess this means I really need to sit down and rewatch the first two seasons...

Won't help, you'll just get more confused. Just read the timelines circulating online.

    Oh, for fuck's sake.

    1) That's not why I'm rewatching. I'm rewatching because my memory sucks and I often do this for nuanced shows (most recently for BoJack Horseman's final season).

    2) I was never confused about season 2 (or season 1).

If you don't think you were confused then you probably weren't paying attention.

I wasn't confused by season 2, just extremely underwhelmed.

I'm rewatching the series not only to prep for Season 3, but also to see if my original feelings on Season 2's Coda change.

I was neither confused by the show nor underwhelmed by the second year.

forgot most things, don't want to rewatch, so probably will watch some summary videos that will get made eventually or maybe are already out there.

I hope Tessa Thompson's robot self gets separated from Dolores somehow.

rooting for Ninja/Samurai Maeve vs Dolores

Rewatching Episode 2 with the explicit knowledge that we're watching events play out across a gap of 30 years has reminded me of something that I've never quite been able to figure out: when the scenes involving Dolores waking up in the middle of the night and unburying Arnold's gun happened.I

Can anybody help clarify this for me?

I saw the first trailer the other day, and I'm pretty excited for this now. I'm really looking forward to finally getting to see the outside world.
I'm also curious how William's story in the future is going to connect back to everything going on in the present.
Delores vs Maeve should be pretty awesome.
I'm also wondering what draws Aaron Paul's character to side with Delores and the other robots.
I also thought it was interesting that they appear to be using non-Host robots against the humans. Are they sentient and deciding to work with the hosts or non-sentient and just reprogramed?

There are 4 trailers now, apparently. One is cut to make season 3 look like a rom-com with 35% more romance.

My theory on Aaron Paul's character is that he is convinced that he is as enslaved as the robots, bound to a certain role in life and destined to live out his loops, unable to be free of them. He'll feel that siding with the revolution might be his only act of free will left.
