I am 100% down with them all putting on ridiculously camp outfits in an attempt to pass themselves off as rogues on Canto Bight.

    I mean, Freecloud.

Looks like it's sitting on a body of water.
    Perhaps it's a floating Island?

I'm a little let down that everyone in Freecloud aside from that "muscle" appears to be human.

    Perhaps it doesn’t have a daylight :p

If it’s in Romulan space, where their Star has gone supernova, it may be too far away from another star to provide any significant sunlight?

Will Picard & Co revisit the planet featured in TNG's 'The Royale' in this episode??

Romulan-held space covers tens of thousands of cubic lightyears. We don't yet know all the systems they cared to hold in their grip when they were an Empire.
