Not very impressive as far as leaked materials go. Maybe the sausage the dog is eating is spoiled but if this were food I'd go to the cupboard and eat the entire container of frosting.

There's more meat and cake to be had as teased in the news article:
    https://www.trektoday.com/content/2020/01/seven-of-nine-not-a-picard-fan/

    Per the news clip:

Why would Seven be a fan of Picard just because they both share the sole trait of being assimilated? It doesn't make them family by default...

Interesting clips in there I hadn't seen before. Love the TNG fanfare at the end when he sees the holo-D. Presumably that will be part of the theme?

No, but they shared a common Workgroup Network (She was assimilated decades before Picard was, so I'm sure she 'connected' with Locutus, just like Hugh recognized him in TNG S5 - "I Borg") :borg::rommie:

I think it's charming that they have Picard give the dog a little exposition establishing that he's speaking French, so that monolingual English-speakers won't be entirely confused by what's going on.

They've got those vague distant tower structures on the horizon like the AbramsTrek movies:

I watched Scorpion (part II) last night, which I had never seen, in order to understand where 7 of 9 came from and how she stayed. She tells Janeway that she was selected as a representative of the Borg, just as Locutus was.

The first time I watched that clip, I thought it was a bad French translation of Picard! No disrespect to Sir P, but his accent could use a little work.

    The difference is:
Picard was supposed to speak to and oversee the assimilation of the entire planet Earth - andother Federation planets as the Borg reached them. 7of9 was just a mouthpiece to interface with one person (Janeway) because Janeway declined partial assimilation into the Collective to design the weapon. My point? Locutus was GIVEN more a Command role...hence why Hugh defered to him and would have followed his orders.

But that was totally Seven's role too. She was just assigned under the guise of helping them so they could defeat Species 24601 (or whatever it was called). It was always the intention to assimilate Voyager and the crew. Hence the title of the episode.

Why are we putting very old info about VOYAGER in spoiler tags???

I do believe that we are well past the Six Month embargo on those particular episodes.
    :wtf:

    New clip featuring Picard's conversation with Data is just posted;

As I had expected, it is from Picard's dream sequence.

Looks promising but I don’t have much faith in Kurtzman.

I think those buildings are an example of arcology architecture. First proposed by Paolo Soleri decades ago, an arcology (architecture + ecology) structure is a self-sufficient building which addresses the issues of population density, while having a minimal impact on the environment.
