I thought this might be fun. I've been doing this after every Star Wars release since The Last Jedi and now SORTA app makes it even easier. https://sorta.app/q/1023
I would say don't overthink it, it's just what you're feeling right now, it's not set in stone. Several of mine have changed places over the years.

    I got:

    1. The Last Jedi
    2. The Empire Strikes Back
    3. A New Hope
    4. Return of the Jedi
    5. Revenge of the Sith
    6. Rogue One
    7. Solo
    8. The Force Awakens
    9. The Phantom Menace
    10. Attack of the Clones
    11. The Rise of Skywalker

which sounds about right, escept I haven't seen Rogue One or Solo (or at least I have no memory of Rogue One, I'm pretty sure I technically watched it though), so those two shouldn't be considered. I'd also put The Rise of Skywalker a little bit higher.

The other movies I thought were too agenda driven and lack any substance or character; I wasn't interested in producers bringing in the great characters of Star Wars just to shit all over them just to make their new characters, who lacked any, look better. Also, Rey, a Mary Sue and grand daughter of the devil, stealing the Skywalker name and replacing a great, noble character like Luke Skywalker is a slap in the face to everything Star Wars. It's a disgrace!

    Agreed.

I still rank them, though, mainly because the films I have at the top of my list gave me more stuff, overall, to love than the rest.

I took the quiz three times and got three totally different answers. I think it's been to long since I watched a lot of them to really be able to rank them well.

Rogue One is my favorite SW film of all time, and Solo my least favorite, but I can't really rank the other ones.

Although, generally speaking, I'm not liking the sequel trilogy nearly as much as the other two. I don't know, they just kind of leave me cold.

That said, I'm glad the title of this thread isn't "Rank IN the Star Wars films", because it would have gotten incomprehensible real quick. ;)

I've done this about four times since TLJ came out and had slightly different results each time. The first two are always pretty static but ROTJ and TFA have changed places, Solo and Rogue One changed places and the last 3 have been static. I probably like TLJ's Luke/Rey/Kylo Ren storyline most out of all the sequels. I'd like to go back to Caravan of Courage one day, maybe with the my nieces but not The Battle for Endor or The Holiday Special.

It's an interesting method of ranking. While I think Solo is a better movie than The Phantom Menace if I had to decide it on terms of what I would rather watch now then Solo goes to the very bottom of the list. Besides it's various problems it's a bit small in terms of spectacle compared to other movies.

Solo might work better as a series. Nudge nudge wink wink Disney.

    I like lists. :techman:

I agree about Solo as well, it would be a better series. I've seen it twice and it's utterly forgettable.
