The official Star Trek Twitter account posted their own watchlist for Picard the other day, one of which was “Datalore”. Not sure how much we should read into that, as it established a lot of Data’s creation/Soong backstory as well as introduce Lore.

Out of all of the stuff we've seen in the trailers, I think Data's inclusion is the thing I am most curious about. He's always been one of my favorite Trek characters, and I'm really looking forward to see what kind of role he has in the show.

Maybe he had swapped fingers with Lore. That's cold, of course, but effective.

His body came apart initially, the parts were then thrown behind one of those Disco Enterprise doors and were thus shielded from the bigger follow-up explosion.

I imagine most people are in this forum because they want to talk about the show. And most of what they have to work with at this point is speculative.

I'm pretty sure that Spiner said at a couple of conventions that B-4 was the one in the drawer.

The lesser known Dr. Seuss sequel to "There's a Wocket in my Pocket" is "Lore in the Drawer."

He didn't seem very sure, though, and remember: Pegg said it's not Khan ;)

My theory is that Data will only appear in the first two or three episodes - in Picard's dreams. He will likely convince Picard to go back "on a mission".

Data was stored in B4's memory before the Scimitar exploded? Then B4 hummed a familiar song as if Data was around? It's been long long time since I watched 'Nemesis' so remind me if I'm mistaken.
Might there be a plot coming where there is a debate whether Data could take over B4's body because he is a sentient beign, is B4 sentient enough to allow Data to take control? Will they share a body? Will there be another body built for Data?

Followed by the gory sequel "The Lore Axe", where he runs around beheading people (or alternatively dousing people with men's body spray).

I doubt B4 will feature heavily, at most he’s a convenient way of getting a copy of Data’s memories (that’s if Data appears in more than just dreams). Other than that I expect he’ll never be mentioned again.

B4's brain isn't as advanced as Data's, so it wouldn't work. He's have his memories, but he wouldn't be able to emulate Data.

Correct -- all it takes is Allison Pill's character to say "I've developed this technobabble device that allows B-4's brain to become more powerful than Data's."

Then we would have the episode where Picard mopes around wondering about the ethics of it all.
